- Ah, here's some Would you Rather questions and me reviewing people's answers. Would you rather is a vocal game you can play with your friends where you ask a series of questions with only two possible answers. It's used a lot in psychology.

As someone who has suffered from severe OCD in the past, I will definetly NOT let anyone see all the intrusive thoughts I've ever had.
exactly💀💀i get being able to share pretty accepted intrusive thoughts like "push that person into the train" because most people are chill with that, but more stigmatized intrusive thoughts (esp sexual) get FUCKED fast, no way in hell i'm telling anyone a single thought from my head💀

I have OCD, and I 100% agree. It's one thing for my parents to have a theoretical idea of what my intrusive thoughts are about. It's another to have them read every single one of them. I feel like, even though they know the thoughts come from my mental illness and that they are not representative of me as a person, it would be difficult for my parents to view me the same way.

I’ve been in 2 relationships that were longer than 2 months. It’s always the same situation: We both like eachother, but after a month I lose feelings, and the other person doesn’t. I stay in the relationship to not make them upset, but end up having panic /anxiety attacks. So easily, I would like to be able to Love
As someone who has been in the same situation I feel you deeply :(

As for the deaf or blind one, I would chose deaf because there are things called cochlear implants that can make you hear again.
Actually, as someone with hearing problems, it's not that simple. For me, cochlear implants would make no difference to my hearing because of where the disability is - it's not in the first layer of my ear and therefore the cochlear implant would not bypass the issue. If the issue is further down the ear system or is in the brain, then cochlear implants would not help, although they do help with some issues. I have to use hearing aids instead because of my issue.

@@silver_crystal Ah I see, I wasn’t aware of that, I used to think that cochlear implants could simply work with all cases and completely restore the patient’s sense of hearing. In hindsight, it seems pretty stupid to me, because hearing problems can stem from may different causes. Thank you for letting me know and I’m sorry about your hearing issues.
@@Slapples Honestly, I'm impressed you knew about cochlear implants at all - I certainly didn't until I recently started looking into potential solutions. It doesn't surprise me that you made this oversight.
Another not-so-fun fact about all hearing devices is that they rarely restore hearing completely as, at least for hearing aids, they sound amplified and can take getting used to. I'm lucky that I'm on the younger side so I can adjust faster. :)

A) A huge portion of the $250k would be spent on either just living or mostly taxes, and B) the retire with 1 million dollars needs to be updated, 1 million dollars is not a comfortable retirement. Say you are 26 and work for 4 years, and retire at 30, 1 million dollars would not last 5 years. You would need to work until you are like at least 45 till you can even consider retiring with that sort of wage in America.

As someone with quite severe hypersensitivity, showers are horrible for me (lights, temp changes, scents, water pressure changes, touching wet surfaces etc) so the 1 a week shower would save me a lot of stress.
But I’m also a STEM student, so the bed would help me be less behind/stressed…. maybe?

I didn't choose work for someone else because I want more money, but because I don't want to work for myself, aside from very few situations. I would probably just be stressed and pressuring myself to work all the time, and end up burning myself out because I don't know when I've done enough. Sure, I'd probably perfect that over time, but that would be a very stressful start, and I do enjoy working for other people. I like knowing what to do, when to do it, how to do it, and for how long. That seems a lot simpler and more enjoyable for me.

With the love or be loved question. That, that hit way to close to home. I never really loved my step-dad properly, and I dont know why, I feel bad and mad at myself that I don't love him as much as he loves me, and the love but they don't love you, mind you this was when I was 11, I fell in love with a girl in my class and, she OBVIOUSLY was straight. I was bestfriends with her, she would talk to me about her crush on thus guy, and it broke my heart, I never told her but, we were in a trio of bffs, we were the trio of three girls, and I personally never think that trios ever work out. I was the one left behind, one of the girls in the trio, the one I didn't have a crush on, said I was weird and didn't wanna be bffs with me anymore because im lesbian. So we never talked since, I'm still in contact with the girl I used to have a crush on, well, not really used to, but when I was 11 and my bffs parted from me, I felt alone, and this was just before I moved houses, then I actually realised how small amount of friends I had, in my old neighbourhood I had 3 friends, we would go outside and play adventure games with fake swords everyday, and we made this giant base from a giant old tree because the branches covered through like a dome, and we would work on our base till 8pm when our mums would call us in, and when we finished the base we were celebrating like crazy! We had so much fun. I swear I know this I'd like just a dumb quote but alot can change in a year or two, and you never realise how much you cherished something till its gone, and I literally went through the pain of so much loss at such a young age, for example, when I was 11 I had a trio of bffs in school, we would hangout and stay awake at sleepovers till 3am, and in my neighbourhood I had 4 other friends where we would play dnd and go outside and play adventure games with sticks and such, now I'm 13 and I've dealt with losing bestfriends BECAUSE I'm lesbian, was heartbroken from love I had, and moved away from my friends, and we aren't even thar close anymore, they even tell me when I get the chance to meet up with them that hanging about in the neighbourhood isn't the same without me. And now I've recovered, I still don't have a proper group of friends but, I'm working on it.

For the dating one, I feel so strongly about it and that is that I would any day take the heart break of losing 5 years of happiness over a lifetime of nothing its a wonderful thing to love to fall apart to change and grow its apart of what makes us human and I would so much rather deal with pain and suffering than regret my entire life. I once watched a stand up comedy act and a part of it talks about how so many people are dating and married not because they love the other person because they feel as though they have to. I would so much rather be with someone who loves me for a short amount of time than be with someone who loves a version of me they have made up in their head

The magic bed and the jumping for a dollar is a very powerful combo. While everyone else is asleep at 4 in the morning, you’re jumping around making bank.
Assuming you still have normal knees do you really think you could properly jump for any length of time, get a tread mill and you can basically do anything you like while walking such as eat, watch UA-cam, play games etc. You also need to consider when you need to leave, are you going to jump to get to places or just walk, your either a lunatic who wont stop jumping or just someone with limited patience who paces alot
yes the jumping one would be great do 10min of jump rope a day and you would make a lot and be in better shape.

Reason for choosing to be safe rather than free: I live in a shitty and dangerous county and fear for my life and the life of my loved ones everyday. It's the worst feeling walking past some random person taking a walk and having to silently beg "please don't be a rapist, please don't take my stuff". Living in fear is absolutely horrible and I'd much prefer safety.

For the five year old question, I assumed that he meant that you would go back both ways but with different knowledge, but I’d still pick the current knowledge because the future knowledge wouldn’t make sense to me and i won’t know even basic 5 year old stuff since it’s only the stuff I learn later

1. As much as I would love to be free I just always have thing nagging fear that I’m being watched or something bad will happen, so to be safe would most likely cure that fear. I could probably fine ways to have fun with all of those limitations but it would suck after a while. I would have to give up a lot of my favorite hobbies to be completely safe, for example: I love exploring things, I would have to give that up to be safe. That was a really good and hard to answer question there mate
2. Personally I would want to know when I die because then I could live my life to the fullest. I could spend more time with loved ones, travel, or do whatever until that day you know. Realistically If I knew how or when I would die I would become even more paranoid then I already am but that’s whatever. Again that’s a hard question, good job though

I'd rather know my future or something like that.
I didn't have a particularly good childhood, I'm in therapy for trauma and I'm undergoing a possible PTSD diagnosis and I'm also Autistic (Diagnosed since 5). If future me learns coping mechanisms for my trauma and Autism then I'd rather know what to do than live through my trauma again knowing what's going to happen to me, I wouldn't change it because I believe that if I change events I wouldn't have everything I have today (Current boyfriend and great friends, ect).

my interpretation of the "free or totally safe" thing is kind of out there, and it assumes that its like a wish. like, how much more free as a human can you be? freedom of the mind, body, or soul? i interpret it as gaining a sort of omniscient sense. thoughts of others, sight beyond your eyes, manipulation of sense of time, etc., and the ability to act on it. being totally safe? eternal life, maybe. but we know that the universe will end some time. you'd probably be mentally unsafe dealing with everyone and everything you know being destroyed. so, you become a spectator of the universe, forgetting your past self in the infinite knowledge of the cosmos. unable to act, but unable to be acted upon

Back to age 5 with everything you know now or know everything now that your future self will learn. I could NEVER go back to age 5 and watch all those fights my parents had over again. I could NEVER have that first fight with my father and spend a week after that hoping everything would just end. I could NEVER watch my mom and dad divorce once again. I could NEVER go back to my old school and sit behind the portable rooms to cry after my parents fought. And I could NEVER have that awful, awful, terrified feeling of standing up to my dad once again. I couldn’t, I just couldn’t. Too many thoughts of ending everything came to my head back then, too many times of which I had the realization that knives and guns were in the other room, of which I could use to end the misery. I STILL haven’t gotten over those thoughts, I STILL fight with my father and cry for hours afterwards, and there is nothing I can do. I couldn’t live that life over again, trying to be perfect so that I could be praised then safely ignored, I just COULDN’T. That’s why I’d choose the second option, and use that knowledge to my advantage. To win those fights, get over the pain, and FINALLY live a life where I choose everything. It would be the best option for me.

Man if I had been watching back then I would have so easily been able to answer the lose sense of smell or taste lol, I have never been able to smell cause nose got crushed in birth XD. I love these videos though because I find people's thought processes fascinating lol
