Thank you so much for saying what muscles are being worked! This is a great motivator. I also appreciate you explaining why the banded bridge is useful.
Such a great video! Thank you, as always, for your clear and concise interaction! As someone starting out with a weaker core, I had to modify the standing exercises by being on the floor.
thank you for your very useful study, I have a slight pain on the front of my right hip joint, exactly where you showed in the video, as if there is a stiffness there, MRI and X-RAY examinations were performed and no problem was found, your ideas and suggestions on this matter will make me happy, thank you very much in advance.
I hope the exercises help reduce some of your hip pain. You might also try the exercises in my hip flexor video below. ua-cam.com/video/XAA4FFFvUFI/v-deo.htmlsi=_k63FQebgrWflrtF
Hi got hip pain near my left groin area...what can replace the band you used in this exercise? Am kinda far from the city and am hoping you could suggest an easy "home" replacement for the band... Thank you
Hi, I'm 53 and fell on concrete roller skating. I had fractured my radial neck in my elbow on 1/6/24 so I didn't noticed my hip till I was able to take my baths again. The same side as my elbow injury is the area where sitting in the tub I felt pain I think it's in my groin area as your saying. I'm flexible and can usually sit butterfly or crisscross, the moment I do that I can't get my leg down totally & I feel pain in I think the groin it shoots out to center but not out hip. Unsure if i did anything to my back/butt or tight to make that, but hit hurts only when i try to do that sit motion. Also back flat on ground, knees bent my good side I can put my foot on other knee easily, my injured side i put my foot on opposite knee if I push out rotate out it's sore level 3/4. Can you offer suggestions? Will these work?
I have a more comprehensive hip arthritis program in my book that would likely be helpful to you. The exercises in my hip arthritis video below would also be helpful. Make sure to only do the exercises that don't cause more than mild pain. ua-cam.com/video/3RFMtiPHBYQ/v-deo.htmlsi=fmZqpSq88dxFNz0S Here is a link for my book. a.co/d/gW9XB3z
It’s very unlikely that these exercises would tear the labrum. Usually, much more force is required to tear the labrum. It’s possible that you already had a tear and the exercises aggravated it.
Then, it would probably be best to start with different exercises and/or visit your local orthopedist to make sure you don’t have bony impingement or a labral tear. My book has a hip joint pain program with other exercises that we would typically prescribe in physical therapy. The programs in my book are broken into three phases and have pictures of me doing the exercises. Here is an Amazon link for my book, if you want to learn more about it. a.co/d/2vo9fmT
The bottom of the description explains a few things. Usually, people will want to avoid prolonged sitting in low chairs, deep squats with the hip in a neutral position, and aggressive hip mobility work.
Thank you for making a video that specifically targets hip joint pain rather than just hip pain in general. Very helpful video!
You’re welcome! I’m glad the video was helpful!
Great video! Easy to understand and full explanation of how they work and what they are working and strengthening.

Do you have any exercises for lateral shift? My right hip is about an inch higher than my left and I can’t seem to straighten my hips back to normal
Hallo Doctor, can I do these exercises 3 weeks after hip arthroscopy?
Thank you for your answer.
so it is necessary to pump and improve the pelvic muscles so that the pelvis does not hurt?

@@RehabScience Thanks for your feedback I will definitely do that
How about hip snapping when doing leg raises for example?
i appreciate this however i think this is how i tore my labral in Barre class 😢by doing similar if not the same exercises

what if those exercises are painful to do?

Do you know where the hip joint is even at
Lame
So what are the things people do in daily activities that contribute to hip pain that should be avoided?
The bottom of the description explains a few things. Usually, people will want to avoid prolonged sitting in low chairs, deep squats with the hip in a neutral position, and aggressive hip mobility work.

Ok 👍🏻 thank you
I think that my sleeping position is also a culprit.
@@katandmouseyt Yes, it definitely can be. Especially, if the affected leg is on top and drops into adduction as it falls to rest on the other leg.
🙏🙏👏👏

dog on a fire hydrant, they use the same technique on any object
