Welcome to the wonderful rabit hole of OOR. They are an amazing Japanese band formed in 2005. They have 10 LP under their belt. So you have plenty of material to sort through. They are a rock band, but their style can not be pinned down. They have heavy, punk, screamo, pop, ballads, and they do it all to perfection. Their music is anthem like, and their lyrics are highly motivational. They sing in both languages English and Japanese. They are a much better experience live, but their MV are masterpiece. They are in their mid 30s. Taka lead singer 35 Toru guitarist 35 Ryota base 34 Tomoya drummer 36 They tour worldwide, and their label is fueled by Ramen. They had collaborated with artist like 5sos, teddy swims, Avril laving, sleeping with sirens, all time low, against the current, and many more they co-wrote a song with Ed sheeran. They are good friends with linkin Park, and they were planning on touring together before Chester Bennington untimely passing. Some of their lives I recommend are. You missed a few. Save your self, ending story live orchestra mix, the way back, chaosmyth. Also that not only they were friends with linkin park but when Chester passed they invited Taka to come sing Chester’s lead at one of their concerts it’s on UA-cam if you look up Taka somewhere I belong. Also as a side note, Taka/one ok rock has some insane covers. The most notable ones being the Adele covers of hello and easy on me
This is a very accomplished band with a ton of great material. I've had them on my top 5 list for over a decade. Best work would include the live versoin of Take What You Want, the live version of 3XXX5 Take it to the Top, Clock Strikes and Mighty Long Fall. If I remember correctly the venue holds 55,000 people and they sold out for 2 days.
