I mean if youre looking at SNES, maybe, but the genesis had a *ton* of poppin OSTs. Sonic 3&Knuckles for example had some of the best tracks with Hydrocity act 1&2, Flying Battery, Ice Cap Zone and several others. You also had the Phantasy Star series which had their own classic hits, Exile and Y's 3 had some great ones too. Then comin back to the SNES, if your bringing up Uncharted Waters, you cant forget Super Metroid, or DK Country with their masterful ambient soundtracks

Sword of Vermillion, Uncharted Waters and Chrono Trigger were the best three of the 16 bit games for music.
