@@evoricer2649 project star could have ended up really well but because of the severe lack of updates and dev stalemate (devs feel like the release was so good it could carry it, basically the same thing with project slayers).
Yes and no the rushing is completely their choice but I can see where they are worried that everyone might forget about it .. but y tubers will eventually boost it back up like holy war X

As for Anime Showdown, the developers have said they plan to make the game free when they rerelease it. I believe the game can do quite well, but most of the ABA players would instantly be uninterested due to the more complex pvp, and less character variety.

I mean hopefully we might get really good games like rell seas and berserker later on. I honestly think these devs just rush their games too quick before they give it any more room to grow, if they could fix this issue these could have way more potential. Also cool video, keep it up!

In my experience most anime games don't try to do anything new. Every anime game outside of a select few feel the exact same, they lack any interesting combat mechanics and it's just a slog to get through to either a non existent PvE endgame or a boring PvP endgame. Hopefully one day a team of devs really puts in the effort to release something new and special to help the genre reach new heights
Arcane odyssey was the best we were gonna get and that’s not even an anime based game 🤦♂️

Currently, my guess is that most roblox games do have great developers, but they lack something crucial for perfect development : Management. Something that most indie studios struggle with. There are some bigger titles and companies that are the polar opposite of games like Aincrad Online that was supposed to release 3 years ago, with nothing done until now, but the majority is still faulty at this.
Once devs understand this, just like I did and try to do, then the platform may see a new era of high quality games.
Management is definitely an issue
@@TechyOP_ With all the experience I got, honestly it is the only reason. The average dev is TRASH at planning. I am! But I've been trying to address that issue for a year, it's actually VERY hard

I really hope that anime showdown makes a hard comeback, the only issue is the detail the put in the characters would make it extremely hard to push out tons

As a new new roblox game suggestor (ie suggesting game ideas and content after playing it like if i was a tester or smth), its best for them to have a storyline,related abit to the anime they potray (like demonfall) and have decently diffcult enemies to not be brainless and require some skill to perform against and win (Demonfall again) and the gamepasses should be at most,optional, such as accessories or dlc storyline that is just different armor designs and same diffculty (more content) and heavily advised to not spam 900 bandits to lvl up once,get different quests like acrane, or deepwoken,as you should be dashjng around while doing side quests (things that isnt killing npcs and more of service), theres morr but this is all for now.

while axs did have a content problem, its pretty obvious most people just got bored with the game. when katakuri got added the playercount went from around 1k-2k to over 10k for quite a few days, but by the time hit released it was barely even reaching 2k on update day.

honestly it’s all because too many bandit beating ideas and rushing, we need more like rpg experience and a bunch of new ideas or even reused ideas just work on them to make them better, demonfall is a great example of a good game with rpg aspect

Techy you are very ambitious on anime showdown these characters are thought out and take LOTS of time to complete just one which is why it takes such a long time to complete a single character. Plus the effects are way more high quality compared to aba's which if you have ever tried making effects it's not the easiest thing to do.
I’m saying all these things from the point of view of a roblox player. Imma be completely honest no roblox player cares about all them fancy effects that’s why anime showdown flopped. Even saitama battlegrounds is a perfect example.

this might be out of context but I remember reel games throwing a hissy fit in their discord server, all because infernasu said "the game looks great, its just not for me." also will you do a video on aut? and how it went from being the most played game of roblox to now having 10k.

AUT fell hard and I agree on that one.
But for the past month or two they been pumping out updates every two weeks consistently, smaller content wise but alot of balance and bug fixes while I am sure that AUT will never be able to have a competition with YBA but atleast they keep promises about update schedule
@@seraph6975 aut fell off the second they made main game which is 90% of aut useless. you don't HAVE to do anything just go into ranked and you can get anything and check out anything.
@@seraph6975 the game had, just had the chance to get a stable playerbase, they fucked up the moment their coding failed and made lots of people lose their unob stands, and they lost a huge portion of their playerbase cus of that alone reason

@@JustACowThatLives if they are so poor that the money they provide for themselves is all placed on a single roblox game then there is some huge issues in their life. Roblox games can certainly bring profit. but i really doubt that it was their sole job and it is terrible planning to place all your future hopes for profits onto a cash grab game that people will get bored of in a week.. Games made with love for the community and focus on money second, tend to be the most beloved games and end up earning alot more money

To be fair Anime Showdown Is A Quality>Quantity game, yes it might take a month for a character, but even then at least they don't reuse the same moves every time
Wisteria 2 is open again, but I played it for 15 minutes and didn't see any major differences
It’s only open for network stress test they will be closing it down soon again
Im not sure if this is the only one piece open world game but its pretty cool its open world and i just founded a minute ago its called one piece online rebirth its open world like i said has cool graphics
Wisteria 1 (now known as Mugen) is completely revamping the progression, moves, and races. I think you should look into that and make a video, because Mugen has much more potential than Wisteria 2.

A good two reason why these games die early is miss managing and a bad community. Most of the time a community is dogging on devs to release and then complain over anything and devs don’t know how to manage their community or themselves

An alpha is pretty good for a game they can test and talk with their community and heard them for more update game play
But that’s not what wisteria 2 did they released and gave out codes instead of actually fixing the game which led to a shutdown

wisteria 2 also had little to NO content if you chose the demon route what I mean by this is the demon progression system sucked, there was no blood demon arts leaving the only abilities you got the weird slashes and stuff, the demon story line was decent at best (I will say my favorite part was the demon story line purely off the fact you had the option to kill or give mercy to important people you would have gotten missions from if you chose the slayer route)

Techy, I have a feeling it's just a self-conduction loop. Devs say "It' might be ready by (random date here)" but whenever it's delayed players will complain about it being delayed, and if it's released in a buggy state, players will just complain EVEN MORE.

you release alpha's to raise more robux so you can keep working on your game
people don't just work for free. The 3rd game is a prime example of this.
It had bad scripting because they ran out. In the first game the devs didn't give up on the game
I believe there just doing fixes and adding new content to it.
For the 2nd game it didn't really even close down it needed more maps and 3 more characters per update
I'm honestly confused why it took so long the character modeling isn't really that hard if your experienced
the effects take like 3 days at max per character the scripting should take like 1 day or 5 hours.
Ye I’m not sure why it takes so long for characters to drop I’d assume it’s just pure laziness on the devs and excuses. Characters be done for days and weeks.
hello, hello?, is that you mrkrabs?, thats not how games work mrkrabs, if the single exact reason as to why you work on a game is money and robux, then your game is bound to have no rise and a stagnant development, a game doesn't come from wanting to making money, it comes from an idea, if that was the case then pixel piece would be great cus it was getting money right?, wrong, the devs put 0 effort into making the game good whatsoever, what is this logic that if you dont have money > no development?, thats a bs excuse ngl, you are part of the reason roblox games nowadays are just cashgrabs, developers focus on making money and they dont get any energy to make their game if they dont get money, you get your energy from wanting to make a good game with a idea you had, not money, alpha games are not meant to be released for the sake of "making money to continue the game", you're wrong, alpha games are meant to be released for the sake of testing bugs and fixing them for the sake of releasing the full version later on, if you are gonna release a game on alpha atleast ADD enough content for it to be a game, pixel piece never did any of that, all of it was boring stagnant bandit beater like any other

Alright imma try to be honest none of the demon slayer games can even come close to demonfall especially after the new revamp arrox announced demonfall is gonna be peak the animations and graphics are already great and the storyline is well designed and they gonna make all the animations and designs better which is gonna make it one of the best games
