God Bless TEXAS. Can you use drumsticks on the octo or just hands, brushes or lightning rods?

Hands and brushes. I would not recommend sticks as it's an all wood (playing) surface.

@@dannypattersonmusic I just got some Water Monster Brushes. Highly recommended. I'm in the process of building more or less a prototype Cajon drum kit and I believe the Vaters to be ideal. God Bless TEXAS and Happy New Year. Thanks for the reply 👍

cool video!! how did the octo cajon perform in a live gig?? do you believe it would be enough for playing outside in the street without a mic?? thanks!

Thank you. I've used this cajon at live shows but always with a microphone. It has decent volume for playing with acoustic guitars but is quieter than a regular size cajon.

I've had 2 of these LP cajon thrones. Great concept, terrible product!!! They literally disintegrate!! First the plastic that seats the bearing breaks apart. This leads to more bearings breaking away. The seat begins to crack and then the seat separates form the bottom. I've had this happen to 2 cajon thrones.

Tim Delaney Sorry to hear about those cajon thrones; mine has held up fine with no issues.
