Galaxy Angel in current video gaming term, is suprisingly quite CERO: A rated. It's as if an elementary school child could watch it without being 'caught'. Perharps it's because they want to export it outside Japan, or maybe to appeal to the female watchers (e.g. lots of comedies, female focused, trivial stuff).
I do not remember almost anything about the story, but I remember I liked this song very much! Now listening to it again, the lyrics is really funny. "頑張るのは明日にしましょうか~"
+Jeong-hun Sin Only some episodes were serious which have to do with the characters' back-story, all other episodes were just random nonsense. I think so far the manga and games were the only serious thing out there.
***** Some of the serious episodes are kind of needed for the jokes, or else the 'Nomad is going to sacrifice himself to the Borg/Cube' joke wouldn't work. They basically acted as if Nomad is going to explode himself, fulfilling his destiny. Of course the gag is, the military only used a copy of him, and make more copies as needed. And the Cubes are nothing more mere pests. Basically making a serious episode into a gag episode. Nomad was named after the Nomad probe from the The Original Series of Star Trek, while his Warhead personality was based on the Smart Bomb personality in Star Trek: Voyager's Warhead episode. That being said, the two parter "Last Dish: Rebecca" is way too serious for the series. It's as if the story was taken from the game version or somewhere else. Millfeille is very competent, as if someone had just replaced her (like 'that' episode). The Angels don't seem to be interested on doing any serious work though. This can be seen in the Opening Animation of the First Series; the Angels were shown a CG animation of their crafts departing in a very militaristic mecha way, but the Angels weren't interested on it (e.g. Ranpha:"No~ fun." Forte:"No." Mint:"Hmm… Well… Is that so?"). It's possible that the original Galaxy Angel concept was supposed to be more serious, similar to the games; but when proposed as a TV series, it got changed into something resembling Di Gi Charat. Dejiko never appeared in Galaxy Angel, other than as a scary alien silhouette; but Millfeille, Mint, and Vanilla guest starred in Di Gi Charat Nyo, while Ranpha and Forte guest starred in Panyo Panyo Di Gi Charat as anonymous crowd characters with unseen faces. Getting Mint and Vanilla are relatively easy, plus their voice actress are also regulars in Di Gi Charat Nyo. ( www.nicozon.net/player.html?video_id=sm21865893 )
@@OrinokawaMizukiI remember seeing Dejiko and Puchiko in a news broadcast at the beginning of an episode of the first season. As far as I know, Miyuki Sawashiro was the only one of the cast to appear in Di Gi Charat Nyo, other than those Galaxy Angel cameos. Now I'd like to see an anime adaptation of the games, or at least something close, that's mostly serious, maybe with the occasional gag here and there.
watched this on an anime centered channel for SEA audiences dubbed in english and sometimes just eng subs , it was one of the first moe anime that was kinda meh in story i ever watched its fine but its my introduction to the moe genre at the time
i have the hugest crush ever on vanilla shes sooooooo cute i wish i could of went into galaxy angel and met vanilla p.s i checked 90 billion times well sort alike that THERE IS NO SEE THROUGH SHIRTS
This is as close to fanservice as you're going to get with this series. Well, as far as the anime goes at least. There's a panel in the second volume of the manga where Milfie is pretty much topless o_o
Love this ending and also the way the Angels themselves are in this ending just being a tad sexual while dcing ect. It all goes together well and screw the twinstars.
Noisy ★ Angel Loop, as if the Angels weren't already that noisy. This doesn't seem to be an animation, it's more like a slideshow, which is not much difference than the OTHER ending 'animations'. Oh well, at least the Angels looked like singers in this ending. The translucent skirts aren't really that visible unless you're really looking at them, and even then, behind them are nothing more but swimsuits. Millfeille and Ranpha's are quite low cut, Vanilla's is suprisingly quite girlish, Mint's vis ery modest (cosplay schoolgirl type), while Forte's is not frontal to hint the slight ambiguous hint that she might be a transgender. The translucent skirts seemed to be added after viewing the rough draft though, after the studio decided that the girls are lacking sex appeal; guessed that the Angels were really that 'clean'. 1:18 , be thankful that they didn't go with the decision of Mint being a green haired and gave it to Vanilla instead, or else… Oh well, Ranpha is still going to get the butt end of the joke anyway.

Omg vanilla smiling so adorable
She is the best.
This is definitely my favorite Galaxy Angel ending. Those outfits are just the right amount of cute and sexy.
i missed this anime so much :')
reminds me so much of my childhood

i love galaxy angels and steel angel kurumi
