I did a rebuild of Texas State where I went independent and made it so every team on my schedule was a Texas school. I not only had to win the playoff but beat every school in TX as well so I could claim the title of King of Texas football. Making the playoffs as a lower-tier independent can be tough.
I've been hoping that Bordeaux will do a rebuild of the Bobcats one day!
A UNM rebuild is actually very fun: in real life they had the third best offense in the country in yards per game, and they had two players among the top 5 rushers in the MWC.

Actually, when I played college football 25 and played dynasty mode a couple times and in my time line, rice in the future actually does become a college football powerhouse in 2170’s and become a dynasty winning national championships in 2178, 2179 and 2182.
I know in college football 25 The years only go to 30 years and restart, but in my head, I always ignore that and pretend that the years are really going by and always write down a national championship timeline list on my phone as well, and it always helps me come back to the game as well.
RE: your comments about the N Texas stadium. I agree that EA, while I have no idea how accurate they are, did a great job with stadium design & detail. It is a joy to play at some of the venues and one of the things I like about my various rebuilds is seeing places I've never been to. For example, I played a night game at ASU recently and was taken aback by the intricacy and layers of realism they incorporated. There are some really beautiful settings and EA hit a home run in this aspect of the game.

I really wish you'd try a challenge where you have to create a RUNNING team. Limit yourself to no more than 10 pass attempts per game and try to win it all with a strong offensive line and running back/s. Can it be done?

If you have a player that has 90ish speed but his acceleration is In the 80s he will feel super slow playing so when recruiting make sure their speeds in the 90s and their acceleration is in the 90s

Bordeaux I am once asking again for a Tulane Rebuild. Put Tulane in the SEC and see what you can do in a 5-yr rebuild (Tulane used to be in the SEC and they are rivals to LSU).
It’s really not hard at all if you allow yourself to recruit nation wide . Won my first natty with them after about 4-5 years , the A+ academic prestige is actually Op when I comes to getting 4-5 stars interested early .
