I friggin love Ray Romano, Everybody Loves Raymond is my favorite sitcom of all time, and I can't wait to check out Paddleton!
All the Duplass brothers movies are like that. They're part of the first people that started the "mumblecore" genre. Dialogue focused and improvisation.
Ray's performance in Paddleton was brilliant.
This movie made me cry, and that just does not happen to me too often... I loved this movie, it was perfect in every way.

Its 2019, we have super realistic CGI and everything. How is it possible that movie editors wont notice these differences in transitions to another camera like at 5:07 mark? Smooth.
I'm reminded of Euphoria. That was a nice film.
They should've made it so he does just before the date he planned to die, and the doctor could've said huge stress can affect blood pressure and cause a heart attack, and his friend could've said maybe God listened to his prayers (and saved his soul) if in any of their conversation Ray had asked "are you sure? I thought you were religious? And suicide is mhhh a sin last I heard? Specially if you are not in excutriating pain that nothing gets rid of it" )

This movie was awesome, I ended up loving it. Which is really fucked up for him to just give up the ending like that. Yeah the journey to that moment is what makes the movie, but im sure knowing he dies at the end will discourage many from watching it.
Well you know from quite early on that he is going to die don’t you? He spoiled how it took place but the entire movie is about him assisting his friend’s suicide

Nah. It’s pretty obvious from the start of the movie that’s where it’s gonna end. But the movie is great ”despite” that. Raw, akward, tragic and funny. You can tell it’s improv because it feels real. Recommended.

I watched that the other day...it's a funny thing at the beginning I thought....oh stink rays not the one dying....anyway just a funny thought probably better how they did it...funny thought....great movie!:)
