I am so grateful for this video. The second method is the way I learned to sew pockets, but I am currently working on a Kwik Sew pattern which uses your first method. The instructions in the pattern were somewhat confusing but this video provided the clarity I needed. I much prefer your second method but it's great to have a clear understanding of both methods.
