    Here I review Noodler's Dostoyeosky. It is a Turquoise ink. I compare it to 365 other inks tested on its viscosity and dry time, results are shown on a bell curve.
    Writing sample is at 3:39
    I think Krishna Earth would be a great complement to the color on the page. I also give my thoughts on Noodler's Dostoyeosky, all of the opinions are my own.
    I used a Noodler's Ahab with a Modified Flex nib to take my notes for this video. If you want, you can also follow me on Instagram: / aninkguy

    This doesn’t mean I think the best complement is in itself a great ink, just that it is a nice complement color.

      DO NOT contact anyone on telegram (or any other social media) claiming to be me. I am not running giveaways and I will not ask you for money. They are scammers and spammers, and they want to steal your money and personal information.

    Totally agree about swabs! I've never been able to rely on them. I don't understand why they're so common.

      I just think it is because people will get ties up on different pens and nibs. So swab seems the easiest to deal with... maybe?

      I’d do them if I used inks to paint with, and some do. Mine are strictly for writing, so I’ve stopped letting gorgeous swatches mislead me about what my ink purchases are going to do in my pens.

    My ink collection some how wants to grow.
    Having subscribed to your 'channel ' brings a lot of temptation.
    I have no idea who Vita is, but I like your second real world take with the chromatography.
    That is a valuable notion.
    The texture of paper is known as 'tooth' in the art circles I ran with a life time ago.
    Ahabs are for sitting down and enjoying, love 'em.
    Yours is modified?
    I have adjusted a few.
    In the Navy most of what I did was with pencils.
    I did have a Fisher Space Pen refill in my trusty Parker T ball Jotter.
    Once again the complementary color you came up with, rocks!
    I just ordered Noodler's Polar Blue Eternal.
    Be well . Chris

      VittaR did a ton of great energetic ink reviews... the gold standard! here is her channel: ua-cam.com/users/VixR
      I realize tooth is how you describe the texture on the paper... there is enough specialized vocabulary in fountain pens and inks I just didn't want to be the one to introduce more.
      This Noodler's Ahab has a modified nib to make it flex easier. Just a fun thing to do with the pen because Noodelr's makes it so easy to do and to get replacement nibs. But I enjoy their nibs as they come out of the box... I'm not afraid to fiddle with a pen a little to make it write better.
      Happy early Navy Birthday, incase I don't hear from you by 13 October.

      Thank You,
      I did not mean to be condescending about 'tooth'.
      I will check out the lady's channel.
      Whitehall is only a couple of hours from here.
      I tend to forget October 13.
      Thanks for reminding me.
      Now I have a bug in my ear about a more flexible nib.
      Take it slow! Chris

    Hi, Adam. Really enjoy your reviews. Also an educator. What is your most favorite shading turquoise. I want that to be my next purchase. Gracias, Bro.

      While I don't have a favorite Turquoise ink, I can list a few very good ones that would be regular stock for retailer.
      Colorverse Morning Star
      Diamine Havasu Turquoise
      Noodler's Navajo Turquoise
      Private Reserve Blue Suede
      Robert Oster Tranquility
      All of these have great tones and pretty good shading.
      I hope this is helpful.

      An Ink Guy very cool. Thanks a ton. Here is an interesting video I came across. The ink is beautiful. Any idea what it is? The gentleman who posted the video never responded. On a side note, the sound in this video is incredible: the sound of the nib on the paper on a wooden board. So simple. Which leads more space for meditation.

      I think this is a Blue-Black looking at it. Without more information, like a chromatography or color swatch it is difficult to make a guess based on the video. Sorry I cannot help.

    Can you do a UV light test?

      I doubt I would get it captured on camera right... I am not very good at all of this and I just don't think I would be able to do it we...

    • @adjromulos
      @adjromulos 2 місяці тому +1

      @AnInkGuy I asked this because according to the manufacturer website, they had all sorts of claims in regards to the properties of this ink. Bulletproof, water resistant... Including UV light fluorescent. I thought it would be a good signing ink if all this was true. Give it a shot and turn off the lights while shining a UV blacklight on a paragraph.

      @@adjromulos I have added the "blue Ghost" to inks when grading certain things to prevent cheating from students. So I feel confident that it Noodler's says it has a certain quality to an ink that it is there.

    • @adjromulos
      @adjromulos 2 місяці тому +1

      @@AnInkGuy that's interesting. Can it be added without degrading the properties of the original ink?

    • @AnInkGuy
      @AnInkGuy  2 місяці тому +1

      @@adjromulos I haven't experienced any negatives when adding it, as is no loss of other qualities. And, Noodler's inks are so dense that adding it. doesn't seem to dilute the color at all.
