I went from steam in 2020 to Xbox in 2024 and the Kodiak is one of the few I know I will have to buy again. I miss that thing my pc died on me but the skycourier has been a ton of fun in 24
There is so many reasons i wolud give you to save some money and go back to PC simming but as long you are happy it's the most important thing. Kodiak 100 is one of them:)
Thank You very much! Yes editing is the most time consuming part in my videos. For all outside shots I'm using Flight Control Replay as a outside app. MSFS 2024 has this build in already but i found it a little bit buggy. For this specific fly-by shot you asked? It was done by running replay from FCR and using drone camera. If you see some small head movements that means i had TRack IR on while recording that scene. I hope this answering your quastion. I found the Kodiak had transferred perfectly from MSFS 2020 to 2024.....until today! Now I can't start it from cold, or at least not keep it running. I've tried following Flight Director's procedure in this video without success. I wondered if there had been an update or if anyone else was finding the same problem?
@@flightdirectorr Thanks for your reply. So, fuel shut-offs on, fuel valve pushed down, master and avn bus on, aux fuel pump on (high pitch whirr), ign on, starter on (lower pitch whirr) prop starts to turn. Advance mix to low idle , advance prop to full (prop spins faster). As soon as I turn starter off - warning sound and prop stops. Same with high or low start. Any suggestions appreciated. TIA
Ok so straight away i have noticed one thing:) When you push condition lever to low idle. Straight after that don't push prop to max. Turn off ignition and starter and fuel pump goes to stand-by position ( midle switch position )then turn on alternator and generator. Once that is done push blue prop lever to maximum. Let me know if that helps
@@flightdirectorr Thanks again, but no joy. Prop slows and stops as soon as I turn off the starter. It's as if there's no fuel getting through. (there is fuel in tanks btw :) ) I'll have another play tomorrow. Thanks again.
Do you have your fuel tanks open above your head? Just in case jump in to my videos and search for tutorial video Kodiak 100 how to start your engine. Do exactly what i'm doing there and try again. Let me know and if still no luck i will try to find solution somhere else.
Is it completely not flyable? Can You say a bit more about it? I din't notice anything wrong with Kodiak 100 in MSFS 2024. Well there's no visible pilot thou

Hey there. What exactly is going on when you trying to start it? Does proppeler moving at all? Making any weird sounds?

I can't fly my Kodiak in MSFS 2024. The throttle is just weird. It can't hold pitch and airspeed, even in nice weather. Yours seems perfect ?
