“Architecture of the Burrito in 100 second”, please
Lol yeah.. these videos are so nice and catchy, that he could make a offshoot channel, and make all kinds of "in 100 seconds" .. on point and very effective knowledge accumulation in short time.
This is what the people need
LMAO
Composed of 7 layers :
- Tortillas Packets Wrapper Protocol
- Main Meat Unit Protocol
- Main Cheese Unit Protocol
- Main Leaves Unit Protocol
- Dressing Mayo Unit Protocol
- Dressing Ketchup Unit Protocol
- Dressing Chili Unit Protocol
It's a good day when Jeff uploads.
So true.

The title should be "OSI Model in 100 Seconds"
Much less people would then click the video though.
great, you both true, that a dilema
"The Basics of the OSI Model in 100sec" - 😂
why are you so wise in the ways of science?
I love the production value on this channel. Everything is so on point, really makes me re-evaluate all those "unregistered hypercam 2" tutorials I used to watch as a kid.
LOL - big throwback!
Great video! That just sums up my 2hour Computer Network lecture in just 100 seconds.
That's was my goal :)
That sums my whole two months CISCO course I'm taking in Highschool.
@@Fireship But I have an exam and this wont help
@@sayandas5587 good
My Computer sience Teacher always said "if there's Something not working, it's most likely a Layer 8 Problem"
He did say a Layer 8 Problem is when the human behind the PC has done Something wrong, but i never understood why he said Layer 8 untill now 😂😂
Thank for that tho
1:40 hi mom
She ain't your mom
@@Banditxam4 he's translating those ones and zeros...
One of the few tech videos/tutorials that doesn't have a narration that makes you go to sleep. Thank you for this.
Fireship any day, any time!
1:02 Who doesn't love a random unsolicited "artsy" goat video on a Zoom call?
Oh, my goodness, I just searched for this today... It's extremely informative, things I learnt in the uni all came back to me in a better way.
networking is one of the most insteresting parts of computing.
Dude just explained the OSI model in 100 seconds that usually takes 3 hours...
Also the explanation of session layer was amazing 😂, and this was the reason I remembered exactly what is the job of session layer. Else I would've still be confused.
0:32 SMPT
I actually caught this on the final edit, but thought "nobody will notice that".
@@Fireship I'm nobody n I've noticed it 😂
@@Fireship I noticed it too, but that's because I watch your videos at 0.75x speed.
@@Fireship Understandable, have a great day
In 1:35 you have a typo, you said "it receives the data from layer 4, the network layer". Layer 3 is network, layer 4 is transport. Other than that keep up the fantastic work.
A great start for understanding what we call the "layer 8 errors".
Seriously you covered almost everything!!!!!!!! Thank you
I was having a hard time with Docker and then NAT and back to back you've come in just in time!
Amazing. Can you make a 100 sec video on Kubernetes?
We love this serie. Keep it up my man 👍👌
Interesting. We've always learned and discussed the OSI model bottom-up.
Genuinely appreciate your videos bro 🤙
Your way of explaining stuff is simply beautiful 👌
I loved learning about this on a course I did. The way it separates on to different layers is all the more interesting - note how many layers exist is not always the same, depends on what standard your going by. This is nonetheless a great high level explanation of it but for those interested I'd deffo recommend looking deeper into it! Including a number of common protocols not mentioned in the video (probably cause only 100 seconds).
Can’t believe how good this is.
I love your content bro! Fantastic work
I was thinking about getting to learn more about networking...thanks!
I understood that you can make quality content with just basics!
1:33 god those diagrams gave me bad memories from CCNA 😳
Same 😵
the PTSD is real
packet tracer 😢😢😢😢😢 GNS3 😒
You're able to explain the OSI model in 100secs better, than any school for hours or years... :)
My network is a certificate just got emailed to me right after I passed it with your video LOL. Great work simple clear and concise list
Thus my master's class in computer networking was rendered useless in 100 seconds
I Just love your vídeos!
Just love.
I haven't learned this in my entire semester. But now it just fits in my mind like a breeze
That sponsor tho
yeah, I'm a pretty big deal
"Please Do Not Throw Salami Pizza Away"....this sentence was very helpful during exams
This is better than my whole semester of Computer networks in college
Layers 5 and 6 are obsolete in the TCP/IP model. We only use OSI layers to describe networks because it's easy to remember.
I really like this mini series
Thanks. Please more and more of those few min videos
This channel is amazing.
Dammit, Jeff. Stop being so good at this.
Your channel is awesome!
Thanks! Now I am ready for the interview xD
You are killing it.
Awesome video!
My college professors taking 1 week to explain this model and you only just 100 seconds.
Best osi explanation!
Wow, That 100 sec helped me more than 1 year in school
Why am I watching this video so late ? Got my fundamentals all clear !😁👍
Just in some 8 minutes I became a Full Stack Dev thanks to this 100 sec videos ))
I hope watching this will be enough for my semester exams tomorrow.
Okay after actually doing a course at campus on networking last semester, you just covered the OSI Model or TCP/IP Model and Protocol Suite in 100sec we took a week and two tests - do routing next, that gave me a hard time
Can you make a longer video on this?? Its amazing
Top notch!
Great video 👍🏻
actually i love the 100 s videos more than anything in the world
😂 session layer explanation was awesome 👌🏻
Better than my teacher explanation
plz do "100 sec of microprocessors", "100 sec of DBMS", "100 Sec of data structures" and "100 sec of algorithms". We are confident that you will not fail us.
Next video: cs bachelor in 100s.
As always awesome content 👌🏻
Somehow Jeff managed to summarize my entire Networking I UNI Course in 100 seconds
I love the smpt protocol
So basically he explains 100 hours worth of stuff in just 100 seconds . Tell me again why he hasn't hit a million subscribers already
This video literally has my 6 month worth of uni networking subject data.
Pretty much, yes
It is a nice introduction, but it's just that. The model used today is TCP;IP. Though, the OSI model is nice because it makes it easy to understand and conceptualize.
@@wipoulou The TCP/IP model to describe networking abstraction layers? What are you even saying?
He got it now !
good one!
Thanks Man
Just when I thought this channel could not keep producing quality content.
*DJ Khaled voice: another one
Finally Jeff got a sponsor..
You are awesome ❣️
That so reminds me of school, All people seem to need data processing
Seriously admiring your efforts to make the video so knowledge-dense. Undoubtedly boon to the community... 😊
I've got another protocol for you over the last layer, it's the WOW protocol:
It's when we like and subscribe although we have already liked and subscribed.
Jeff is still my favourite tech youtuber
very interesting
Need more networking
Perfect.
During my professional life I have worked on Application, Session, Network, Data Link and Physical layers. 😃
great
This man said just like a burrito yesssssss❤
thanks!! please make a video explain each layer jejeje :)
Please make a full-length or extra-length video on this...
nice
Please make one for OAuth2
Hi Jeff @fireship
Happy Birthday to your 2nd Son: "Crew Timothy"
Now you need a cisco routing course in 100 seconds
Ok just watched this bouta take my net+ test wish me luck
My brain is gettin bigger, now i can write something and transfer it to your consciousness.
Could you make a video on Ansible?
is is right to say that the operating system of the host is responsible for the session and the representation layers ?
0:30 smpt :)
Could you do a guide on Sequelize?
Damn are we going towards network now, especially cisco?
0:31 SMPT -> SMTP
0:30 SMPT LOL
Could you please do an Angular video? Anything will do
the only thing that i learned in college 😂
