    My Computer sience Teacher always said "if there's Something not working, it's most likely a Layer 8 Problem"
    He did say a Layer 8 Problem is when the human behind the PC has done Something wrong, but i never understood why he said Layer 8 untill now 😂😂

    Dude just explained the OSI model in 100 seconds that usually takes 3 hours...
    Also the explanation of session layer was amazing 😂, and this was the reason I remembered exactly what is the job of session layer. Else I would've still be confused.

    In 1:35 you have a typo, you said "it receives the data from layer 4, the network layer". Layer 3 is network, layer 4 is transport. Other than that keep up the fantastic work.

    I loved learning about this on a course I did. The way it separates on to different layers is all the more interesting - note how many layers exist is not always the same, depends on what standard your going by. This is nonetheless a great high level explanation of it but for those interested I'd deffo recommend looking deeper into it! Including a number of common protocols not mentioned in the video (probably cause only 100 seconds).

    Layers 5 and 6 are obsolete in the TCP/IP model. We only use OSI layers to describe networks because it's easy to remember.

    Okay after actually doing a course at campus on networking last semester, you just covered the OSI Model or TCP/IP Model and Protocol Suite in 100sec we took a week and two tests - do routing next, that gave me a hard time

      It is a nice introduction, but it's just that. The model used today is TCP;IP. Though, the OSI model is nice because it makes it easy to understand and conceptualize.
