While I dislike having to walk from the African to Asian exhibts to see the lions and tigers I LOVE the design. So nice to see the animals in their "habitat" verus in a cage.
The Henry Doorly is an amazing zoo! The Asian highlands is a great area. I also love their Lied Jungle building and the Desert Dome area as well. We "animal people" are really lucky to visit Omaha's zoo.
I agree! The omaha zoo was a place I always looked forward to visiting every year when I lived in Missouri. You should look into the Late Nights at the Zoo Event. The Lied jungle and desert dome at night, kingdoms of the night day cycle are very unique experiences!
Thanks for joining me on this trek through the Asian Highlands at Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo & Aquarium! Down the road we will revisit this attraction and do a narrated tour! Until then Enjoy this tour of Jacksonville Zoos Land of the Tiger - ua-cam.com/video/-bepURAJYRY/v-deo.html
My grandson and I enjoyed watching your video heading down I-44 near St. Louis. He especially loved the tiger, and the black bear that reminded him of his dog, Kylo. 2.5 year olds are so much fun.
Hi. What an excellent channel. It seems to me that it is super interesting to try to recognize aquariums and zoos (obviously doing things well to start with and then publicizing them). Although today they are in the sights of all the "animalistas", these institutions if they work well, they are key for the conservation of the fauna. More than fighting for the closure of them, it is necessary to do it for the proper functioning of them. So congratulations on the channel and great video. We will keep in touch. Greetings from Buenos Aires.
So why don't the cranes just fly away? At my local zoo, Taronga Zoo Sydney, we have a special case of a pair of rescued Australian Pelicans who were saved as babies and therefore never learned to fly, is this a similar situation?
Hopefully you will get to visit it soon. It's a very well made exhibit and I would like to revisit it myself, I was there just shortly after it opened phase 2.

I agree! They have done a fantastic job with the natural look to the habitats.
Love the picture in picture....Tigers are my favorite animal
Thank you!
Best part of the zoo...I live in Omaha

That's a good question, I'm not sure. That might be the same reason, I will have to ask the next time I make my way up there.

02:08 is this a Japanese serow? It’s some sort of serow, just don’t know which 😝
Or it’s a goral of some sort. Another goat antelope! My bad. Haha
That's what it is! I wasn't for sure myself
I'll never forget the day I went there and saw the new red panda dead.
Oh no! That would have been terrible
Heart Breaking.😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
