Based on my 6 years of experience with dividend investing, my best advice is to adopt a long-term mindset. While dividends offer attractive income, their true potential lies in the remarkable compounding effect that unfolds over time. With a $350,000 portfolio, I'm now seeking to optimize its performance by adding high-potential companies. I'd love to hear your ideas and insights
I think the next big thing will be A.I. For enduring growth akin to META, it's vital to avoid impulsive decisions driven by short-term fluctuations. Prioritize patience and a long-term perspective most importantly consider financial advisory for informed buying and selling decisions.
Many people underestimate the value of financial advisors until they've suffered losses due to emotional decision-making. I learned this lesson the hard way after my divorce a few summers ago. To keep my business afloat, I sought out a licensed advisor with exceptional credentials. Thankfully, I found an expert who has been instrumental in growing my reserves despite inflationary pressures, increasing my wealth from $275,000 to $850,000. Her guidance has been invaluable, and I now recognize the importance of seeking professional advice to navigate complex financial situations.
My CFA *Julianne Iwersen Niemann* a renowned figure in her line of work. I recommend researching her credentials further... She has many years of experience and is a valuable resource for anyone looking to navigate the financial market..
I didn't know about dividends really until the last decade or so, but all my retirement money was in a 401K which is not optimal for dividend investing. now that I'm about to retire in January I rolled that 401K into a fidelity IRA and invested in dividend paying stocks and funds. now I have around $60K of annual income from those right now and do not have to sell a single share. I feel a lot more secure going into retirement due to my dividend income.
It great to see how much your portfolio has grown, I started watching around your 4th video. You also gave me that push I needed to start investing, appreciate you so much bro.
AI stocks are expected to take the lead in 2024, and my top choice is NVIDIA. They're in a great spot for long-term growth and play a key role in supporting other AI companies. A friend of mine actually made over 200% with NVIDIA, which speaks to their potential. While I favor NVIDIA, I'm open to exploring the other recommendations you've provided as well.
I agree. Even with great opportunities, we should proceed cautiously. Seeking market analysis or advice from certified market strategists is important.
Absolutely, having a solid plan is crucial. My portfolio has doubled since early last year. My financial advisor and I are working towards a seven-figure goal, though it might take until Q3 2024.
@Dividend Data Zach … has anyone looked into why different brokerages pay out the dividend on different dates for example SCHD on ETrade is going to pay out June 25 on the other hand on Empower They’re going to pay out July 1.Why is that?🤔🤔
V - Bought more throughout the week in the high 260's low 270's MSFT - Bought more today after it dropped 6% in the last few days MCD - Opened a position in the low 250's COST - Looking to add on any weakness XOM/KO - 2 of my personal favorite stocks
I just signed up for your service. I am very happy with the purchase, the only thing that I would like to see is the "SAFETY" of the stock dividend. Just my 2 cents as your customer. The price is perfect for this type of service. Love the idea of adding a research tab to your database.
Zach, would be great if you Identify say top Equity Income funds say on 1, 3, 5, 10 year track record. Filter their top 10 positions and list them with DY and expected DPS growth?
@29:12 VISA doesn’t particularly just deal with credit cards, they’re also a main issuer for debit cards as well. They take a fraction of every transaction.
I prefer Philip Morris International over Altria. I think the international cigarette business will be longer around than the American one. Also they are great positioned in smokeless tobacco (zyn) and heated tobacco (iqos). Interesting will be when they introduce iqos in the US. In other markets it hurt their cigarette sales. In the US it will hurt Altria so they can roll it out way more aggressively
Do you (Zach) ever share your portfolio contributions? What I'm trying to see is the growth of your portfolio from unrealized/realized gains + dividend snowball vs the month you regularly contribute.
Look at Dollars Invested (2nd thing I show in portfolio update). That does not include dividends. Then go to every portfolio update and look at new buy section. That will show how much I had added that month. Look at the dividend history to see how much in dividends earned. I reinvest all of it Everything is there to see
You've had ADP for a while and one of the few "you tubers" that do. I'm tempted into starting a position with ADP. Could you do a deep dive of the payroll hr giant?
It's the combined of 3 accounts. The $168k is the dividend portfolio only. Will do full dividend portfolio update only at the start of every month. Weekly episode will be more broad over my entire account + topic/news
@@DividendData thanks for the reply, been watching you for a while and you’ve always provided good insight into a lot of companies. it’d be cool to see you do a video breaking it down but i understand if you don’t want to.
Can we all just at least agree that Microsoft edge is terrible compared to chrome? I’ve tried to delete it from my computer so many times but since I have an antivirus software it keeps getting switched to default. If I could destroy edge I would.
😂 Why does everyone have a problem with the mic? I have a much more expensive mic (Shure SM7B) with a stand, but it’s not nearly as comfortable or easy to use. Holding it is fun for now.
I dont understand how people can feel good about profiting from a company that makes addictive products and then financially squeezes its victims. Sure, everyone has the choice to start smoking or not...but whether to continue or not, the deck gets more and more stacked against them
Don’t understand why people are so worried about others decisions. People choose alcohol, gambling, but tobacco is taboo lol They also have innovative products. With cash they buy back stock like Apple which is why even if the customer base shrinks the outstanding shares shrink and they return a ton to shareholders not hard.
Yea, profiting from alcohol and gambling is also shitty. Any of these three things a person may choose to start but physiologically might not be able to stop while it ruins their lives, their familys lives and the lives of people around them. Is that really worth another 3-4%?
@@CT-O I think you overthink things.. I rarely drink but will socially or watching football. Most people bet a few dollars on games! Or like to smoke a cigar. You are thinking extreme which is a very small percentage of people. Like I said people make their own decisions. I’m guessing you’re against legalizing weed? Which I don’t use but think people should be able to choose.

Can you share details of your advisor? I want to invest my increased cash flow in stocks and alternative assets to achieve my financial goals.
Her name is Bonita Jeanette Rodriguez. Just look her up, and you'll find the details to set up an appointment.
Thanks for sharing. I searched for her name and found her website. I reviewed her credentials and did my research before contacting her. Thanks again.
Our dividend portfolios are roughly the same value. Some same names…some not. May the best investor win. Good luck!
What broker do u use, is trading 212 safe??

new dividend investor does the day you purchase the stock matter if after 2024 payout date?
thoughts on an average monthly amount to put towards dividend stocks? 500-600 a month etc. for long term investing

Hey Zach, do you also invest in ETF aswell?
What API do you use to fetch data?
You’re a legend 🔥
Always look forward to your uploads! You ever thought about exiting Xom? I don't see oil having the best future going forward, my personal opinion.

Zach, would you rather own Visa at this price or the other stock?
yes 😉
Do you sell covered calls as well?
I need one of those hats lmao. Great vid
Anyone ever tell you that you look a lot like Wayne Gretzky?
Zack if you can create a video on ACN

Its personable, real, what other youtubers lack. I think its awesome.

i dont like altria as #2 your top 2 should not be focus on dividend grow at your age i would sold everytthing and trow it into msft or any big tech!
Is there a setup to receive notifications when a stock in your portfolio is cut or raised ?
Thoughts on BMY?
We in Europe may be able to invest some $5000 and you do have 165k in young years?😮
@31:32 ehhhh you may want to ask Google who they rely on to design their semis especially in this AI arms race. 👀
