I have a bella cotton candy maker and ive made my own cotton candy mix with sugar and flavoring but when we try to make it seems it scorches before it does a whole lot before it looks burnt or tastes burnt

Not easily! For flowers you need a slower, more controlled machine. The Robo JetFloss is more like a Monster Truck in the cotton candy arena. There is a new machine from RoboLabs being beta-tested right now, called the Artist. However, it won't likely be released until next year. I'll make a video on it once it's available. :-)

You can change flavors, but not one cone at a time.... you have to add 1-2 cups of sugar to start and can only change the flavor when that's used up. Our Artist machine is designed to allow for making one serving at a time and changing flavors for each serving is thus an option. It just depends on your use. Thin plastic is fine for immediate consumption, thicker bags or plastic tubs will keep it fresher for longer if you intend on maintaining stock or selling retail.
Good morning, I want to buy robojetfloss machine, but I ask you, in case I have only one child want only one candy floss, how much sugar I have to put inside ? is it possible to use the machine in a place where people buy occasionally ? Can I stop the heater with some sugar inside and use the remaining sugar after few minutes or hours while I'm waiting the next customer ? Yhank you.
You have to fill the floss head so it will run in a balanced manner (1-3 cups, depending on the model). However, the heater can be turned off independent of the motor so it's very common to turn off the heat and let the coil cool down when there are no active customers. Alternatively, you can adjust the voltage to the heater to just below the melting point of sugar so it won't fully cool down, but won't produce floss either. This is convenient if you're constantly starting and stopping because you don't have to wait for it to warm back up from a completely cold state. :-)
LOL.... during video demonstrations I often do just toss the cotton candy aside as I'm not making it for sale, and there are no customers present to hand it off to for consumption. :-)

Are you using granulated sugar? If so, try sanding sugar.
