That’s true of every version of Lingo (well, while Lingo cards were in vogue), but the GSN version never made mention of that. And then the latter GSN version with Engvall forgot it.

Back in 2006, my game show toss-up was between “Lingo” and “Wheel of Fortune” since those were what I watch after “Jeopardy!” every night.
