There are many beautiful locations in Pune district, Mohandas K Gandhi was jailed in Pune by British, Aga Khan Palace, Botanical Garden, shaniwar wada fort, oldest temples, and very famous Ganapathy festival, oldest bridges 200+ year old, oldest Race course, over 250 Engineering colleges, many industrial Estates and corridors, oldest synagogue, express ways to Mumbai and to other cities and many more. Importantly Aurangajeb mazar is near Pune. The moguls were defeated by Chhatrapati Shivaji in the Battle of Umargarh 1666.
