    I use the Lester K with my Kurzweil SP76. It sounds fantastic!!!!! It gets pretty close to the B3 sound and the features of the Stop, slow and fast rotary simulation are very appealing.

    The Lester has been around since 2015 and it's still the best Leslie emulation available. Better than any of the sims on the latest clones - including Mojo, Viscount Legend and the Hammond SK / XK's .

      I would have to agree with that, although I’d like you to check out some other simulations, namely IK Multimedia’s T-Racks Leslie, Universal Audio’s Waterfall Rotary Speaker, and Logic’s Rotor Cabinet. They’re just as good as the Lester if not better.

    To me the Hammond B3 sound I was listening for got the closest at about 5 minutes into it...
    Comes pretty close and you don't need a moving van to haul that heavy equipment around....

    An acceleration control lets you adjust the ramp-up/ramp-down time between speeds for seamless transitions. The previous sentence was copied and pasted from the description of the Lester K on Sweetwater''s web site. Would you do a video showing the acceleration control on the Lester K?

    Great video! Are you using a stereo out cable from the Nord to the pedal, and stereo out? Are you using a "combo" keyboard amp or 2 powered speaker enclosures for true stereo?

    • @EHX
      @EHX  7 років тому +3

      Stereo in and to L and R out to a DAW or you could use two amps

    Got myself a Korg organ but I'm afraid using my guitar amp ( will it brake the amp?). What amp do you guys recommend with the Lester K Pedal?

    • @EHX

      Any keyboard amp:

    So the lester K doesn't have an accelerator or anything that can control the break timing? Seems obsolete compared to the G

    Hey my keys player needs a good organ sound do the b9 and c9 sound this good with strait piano input?

    • @EHX
      @EHX  3 роки тому +2

      The 9 pedals are designed for use with an electric guitar. the performance with a piano is very limited. Use it with guitar only.

    So im a keyboard player so do i need the Lester K ,and the Lester G is for Guitar mainly but can also be used on keyboards or are they exactly the same but one has more features. I want the one thats optimized for keyboard if you get me.

    • @EHX
      @EHX  8 років тому +4

      Beak The difference is the Lester G has an adjustable ramp up/down speed and a compressor circuit that of course sounds great on guitar but can be funky on keyboard sounds as well. The K version has less features than the G.
      If all you play is keyboard the K will be fine and sound great.

    • @beakf1
      @beakf1 8 років тому +1

      So the Lester G can do the same organ sounds as the K but has a ramp and compressor? because thats what im gonna buy it for the organ sounds on my synth and if thats the case ill get the lester G.

    • @EHX
      @EHX  8 років тому +2

      Yea the G has it all

    • @beakf1
      @beakf1 8 років тому +3

      just learned the G is only mono in option so will go for the K. Thanks for reply.

    I use the Lester K with the B9 Organ Machine. Unfortunately - there is no switch for the speaker simulation (lowpass filter) like on the Rotosphere (keyboard/guitar switch). By switching on "guitar" you get the full bandwith of the source signal. Is this a feature of the Lester G pedal?

    • @EHX
      @EHX  8 років тому +1

      +Patrick Cebulla No it always sounds like a Leslie speaker.

    What's behind the name?

    • @EHX
      @EHX  2 роки тому +1

      Lester being an homage to the Leslie Rotary Speaker and K meaning it was designed with Keyboards (stereo in/out) in mind (though it works great with guitar too). The guitar version is mono in/stereo out, and also has a compressor which we found keyboards didn't really need to accentuate the effect.

      EHX can u give me an example how i usw it with the cables cause i have an amplifire 2 cables and a keyboard with this HLK, but i dont know if i should put it in the inputs only and then in the amplifire or do I need 2 kabels in the left outputs to put Them in the amplifire mixer , or do i have to put the cable From the keyboard Into the right input?

      Digital sound very skinny, while the "ramp" does not sound very convincing, bone has a very sharp acceleration curve, I never liked things but in this case behringer must say that your emulation leslie pedal "rpm 600" sounds best
