Listening to Lunasa's music is like coming back home and feel the warmth of your family.. In the years you guys have become travel companions, a touch of joy and hope across life ups and downs.. Thanks to each of you.
We have been attending Lunasa concerts in the great Pacific NW area for at least 20 years; The Tractor Tavern gigs were some of our very favorites! Last March, at the Triple Door, we attended and that concert has come to be our BIG-LAST-NIGHT-OUT before the pandemic changed all our lives. I can't think of a better "last hurrah". Very happy to be seeing you all later this afternoon - and thank you!
It's unbelievable how important is the rhythm guitar into this. It acts both as a layer for the unison solos and as a percussion. I consider myself a decent guitarist, but I could never play this kind of music to such greatness. So good!
Saw Lúnasa live years ago. Easily the single best show I've ever had the exquisite pleasure of seeing. Even got a picture with the band. Never seen anything that even comes close since.
A big hug from de heart,, music from the spirit to the soul and dancing body, muchísimas gracias por vuestra bellísima música celta sin fronteras, Rafael from Chile
Greetings from the mighty state of Maine US. Good to see you all together-ish, hope to catch you live in the future. Thanks for the show, and take good care, wherever you are.
Huge fan for many many years, dear Lunasa: you have brought both healing and joy into my life. Can't wait for this concert, but even more so, to see you in person once again! And you know from past experiences, I will travel from Colorado to either coast to do so...heck, I'll even get myself to the UK or Ireland! Stay well, and be safe. We're almost out of the darkness.
Absolutely fabulous....it is so wonderful seeing all of you lads playing together once again. You made my day, no my whole week!! I love you all....thank you...xxx
Thank you lads - uplifting and sad at the same time - brilliant playing as always and the sound was fantastic 👏👏 🥰 to you all and a special one 😘 to Pat Doocey - love from Pat & Seamus Manchester/Louisburgh
Love that Patrick Doocey! Ed Boyd is wonderful - and so is Patrick! Only Lunasa...two fiddles, two guitars, four flutes...Colin Farrell kicks it in at 50:46, well done, Colin!!! Sean, Trevor, Kevin, Cillian ALWAYS the soul of the music. Thank you guys, for sharing your beautiful music. Love you forever. Thank you, Jesus, for Lunasa! : )
omg just finding this! so sorry I missed it live. I've loved them for ages. The summer their first cd came out I was studying in Dublin, went into a record store & said 'please recommend a good band I probably haven't heard in the US yet' and they shoved this at me
This was WONDERFUL (as always) thank you for putting this together for us to enjoy! Love to all of you, and so good to see Sean again. Can't wait for some Live shows in the future, miss seeing you all!
Wonderful stuff guys. As a band, we've been trying to put together layered videos like this, and you guys just blow everything else away! Stunning to watch and listen.
Brilliant performance. I’ve had the pleasure of seeing you all live in Ireland and in the states several times and I have to say the energy here is just a terrific! Wonderful performances, wonderful energy, cool video presentation, and the audio/sound is really outstanding. Listened some in my car, some at home on headphones and just crystal clear, rich capture. I’ve been following you guys for 20 years plus, buying your music on CDs mainly on but also streaming it online, and this might be the best mix I’ve ever heard of your group particularly the bass- just a gorgeous mix. Much gratitude and respect to all of you for your performance here and thank you for being tremendous ambassadors of Ireland and traditional Irish music. Thank you for your joy and enthusiasm-can’t wait to see you all again live in person someday in the near future God willing. Cheers!
Hi John, thanks for the incredibly kind words. The virtual concerts are difficult to put together but this is what makes it feel worthwhile. Hopefully we'll be back out there soon and see you somewhere along the way!
Lovely music ! Lunasa has got an unic sound ! Take care of yourself and good luck . Saw you two years ago in Celticimes (France, Albiez le Jeunein the Alps)

minute 46 to 52.....MARAVILLOSO, EXTRAORDINARIO; INIGUALABLE.....what a way to "play" with the tin whistle
Thanks from Italy!
