Totally agree. A pressure washer demo video and doesn't start the bloody thing. Probably didn't want us to see it running like a cheap Chinese bag of shite
Hi there. Love the video great help. Can anyone guide me. I want a small trigger gun instead of using the long one. Anyone know what one I could get (make and model). UK based Many thanks
The warranty on these washers are not worth the paper they're written on. They would rather send you the parts that you pay for and when that still doesn't work they just stop replying to your emails
Bought one of these a few years ago. if you remember the charles atlas bullworker, this is the modern equivalent. Set the ignition and fuel to on, close the choke, throttle to fast , release the water pressure, then pull the starting cord, pull and pull some more, and then when you've done that, pull, pull and and some more, adjust the choke, release the pressure and pull, pull and pull some more, repeat until you collapse from exhaustion. Though it won't start , by God you'll have an upper body workout that would make charles atlas envious.
On many washers do NOT start the motor without first running water through the lance. Failure to do so can ruin the motor and/or blow the seals in the pump.
Hi, Thank you for the review, i have a similar identical looking machine. I would like to use my machine on a boat without mains pressure water. It came with a short hose and filter that intend to drop over the side of the boat for water. How do I get this to work? has anyone tried it ?
Thank god for you Sir ! After unsuccessfully trawling the web for better instructions that came with mine (different brand etc however exactly the same build), your video is 700% more informative ! Nice one :)
Hi, I have just bought a brand new rocwood machine from eBay. After watching your video and carefully followed the instructions that comes with it. The machine failed to start. Do you think you can help? What I have noticed is that the sight glass window is not half filled with oil. I’m under impression that the pump has already oil in it. Is that sight glass window is for pump or engine oil level? I thought of seeking for your advise first before sending it back to the dealer. Thanks
IS there a manual available on-line by chance? I am interested in underfstanding how the low oil safety mechanism works (as mine is failing to start)? Thanks..
You just saved the day for me with this video, just bought the exact same washer and it kept cutting out after a minute. I was tuning the petrol lever off instead of on. I noticed when you turned the petrol on it was the exact reverse way I was doing it then I noticed the small arrow indicating the on position that I never noticed before. thanks.
Hey wondering if you can help me? Ordered the same model which should 3950psi but on the model that's just arrived says 3481 max psi on it. What does yours say mate?
Hi, great video thanks. My Rocwood washer has been tipped up and lost a little oil from the pump, how do I check the level please? Your pump in the video appears to have a sight glass, mine does not. Thanks
Hi, thanks. The newer washers came with this window but any of the previous ones did not and it was a bit harder to check. If you have only lost a small amount I wouldn't worry too much unless it is making a noise, in that case it needs topping up with SAE 30 non detergent oil but not right to the top, just leave a bit of a gap as the oil will expand when it heats up. If there is too much oil present it may spit out of the breather cap for a while until it reaches the correct level. I hope this helps.
Got mine today. Very impressive for the price. Running for three hour's. No problem at all. Slowed the pump speed down according to the size of nozel fitted to the lance. Was better on fuel economy. So far so good... :-)
I bought this but my bolts are not tightenen the way they should be i see it on yours as well, loose handles at the side. Do you have any way you could help?
Hi Gary, I've also just bought this. Can you help me and clarify what the max psi written on the machine says? Advertised it's 3950 max psi, but on the machine itself it says max psi is only 3481 psi
It is a great bit of kit. The engine is based on the Honda GX160 engine so the spares are very easy to source. For a budget machine you'd be hard pressed to beat it.
They are junk, all these generic China washers no matter what label is slapped on it do absolutely nothing apart from make a big racket!!! A low end budget supermarket washer for £39.99 put out more pressure!!!!
All that recording and no demonstration. Waste of time

What oil does the pump use? And how much does it take?

What size quick connect would be able to use with Lance
This assembled like my NEILSEN 2200PSI washer bought from irish garage equipment IGE Ireland.
Thank god for you Sir !

I have bought the same wilks tx625i and that video helped me
I have one of these would you know why it keeps kicking of the hose pipe
Terrible to start, spend a bit more and get a decent machine from somewhere else
Hi there, do you or anyone have a link to this exact pressure washer? I'm looking at getting one
Are they any good I am thinking of buying one

Oil level probably
I have the same machine, the chemical injector ain't doing though. What could be the problem?
You need the chemical nozzle.or just use the gun with lance unscrewed

@@norrisbobbish8902 what do you recommend for £300 and under?
Top tip. Never start with water running as it causes too much resistance when starting
That's a thermal relief valve. Also in 5 minutes the pump is gone. You don't know which way to unscrew. You have no idea what are you talking about.
No, that's a pressure release valve, it releases pressure built up in the pump, it has nothing to do with heat. Thanks for the input though.
