I personally think that society isn't really ready (yet) for this form of art. Although it's great idea to go out to people and show them some serious skills 👌
I think they were impressed inside, I've seen myself kind of develop a weird shell over time as I get older. I'm trying to avoid that but it seems most older people have a default demeanor and it takes a lot for them to actually bother thinking past that. However I don't think it's as prevalent as we think it is, there are a lot of people with open mindsets as well.
theyll only be ready for it when exposed to it regularly
main problem with beatbox is its niche genres. usually dnb and dubstep. most people listen to chart music lol

I would legit pay solid amount of extra money to ride in a taxi with a driver that can beatbox.
Normally I would look for the fastest route. But with a talented driver like this I would not mind going around the world just to finish listening to the concert.
