I watch a few car channels and they all say one thing in common - the price of car parts has shot up, which is why a lot of decent cars are written off rather than being repaired.
This Suzuki looks to be in really good condition, apart from the incident damage. I’m surprised that axle bent in the way it did, it looks to be very robust, it must have been a heavy impact. As always great content Phil, I always look forward to new videos from your channel❤.
Rather than bar when removing axles put few bags sand or couple wheel etc in boot cos if saying "" if "" car moved on ramp bar would just put car to one side unbalancing whole car ramp (always compensate in same direction never try to level force with gravity it always wins 😂 ) keep up great work phil 👍
Phil, have you tried Prasco parts for your rebuilds. The chrome moulding just £41 plus vat. Just done a mk8 golf and the front end panels were spot on.
Looks like your on top of this one , I think with the repair route becoming more prevalent the parts guys and breakers have reacted in line with the markets opportunity. However despite this you will make a good motors here . Cheers
Think Id put something more than a loose pole at the front of the car. You can clearly see it's no longer resting on the two rear posts now the axle has been removed.

Good progress Phil well done

That’s why all Suzukis are soo expensive to insure - parts prices are ridiculous
