10 inches of suspension travel on what is essentially a heavy classic motorcycle at its core, would make it feel top heavy id imagine.. especially if you’re not a tall rider.
@@ChrisDavis333 The only time I find my Triumph Scrambler XE top-heavy is when I’m standing two-footed on the pavement, trying to push the bike up into my garage. With practice this is getting easier. In every day riding, maneuvering, and holding the bike up at traffic lights, it feels just fine to me. Granted, I have a 32” inseam, and have no trouble flat-foot straddling the bike. Wishing you well!
I read a lot of complains about the rear suspension. It seems to be to soft. The spring rate is too low. When you are 100kg full dressed like me, than its to weak, they say? You can't also drive with luggage or pillion? Is it true...?
Nice review. I have the 2024 version. The exhaust and engine heat is my major disappointment with this bike. I find the suspension to be a bit stiff, as well. Granted, I only weigh 135 pounds. I’m not sure how far off-road I’d take this tall heavy bike, but for around town and highway it is exceptionally capable. I have other, more capable off-road bikes for the dirt.
Amico mio lo scarico è la bellezza di questa moto , per il calore con un pantalone tecnico e lo stivale è percepibile solo da fermo . Moto ecfezzionale
cool review bro , just watching this really makes me miss new Zealand .
I just built a set of forks on one of these. Customer wanted more comfort. Really cool bike.
I love my 2023 XC. A few mods and it's even better.
You have to buy high boots like dainese centaurio which i have and is ok. All heat go on boots . I love my XE .

i think i switch my old Tiger 1200 to this bike. It's so cool. Little less weight. But the sound, torque, styling. It will be my third triumph.
Cool review…It only has Ohlin rear shocks though
I'm wondering if there's a place for BMW in NZ - their R nineT Scrambler looks interesting. My son sells them in Scotland.
It seems that after the hands leave the handlebar, the direction will deviate to the right.

Well summed up.
Could you compare 1200XE vs DesertX? Handling , engine, suspension , brakes. Which one is better? Which one would you buy?

What exhaust would you go with ?
I dunno eh. They all sound pretty cool. But I’d get one that was lower like a normal style
man, what the top speed ?
Prob not that fast. Never tried. Still a quick bike tho
112mph computer limited
Someone beat me to the start line.
You “test rode” it for 3 hours including gravel riding ?!? … and the dealership was cool with that?
Yeah man. They are a great dealer.
Plus I have bought like 3 brand new bikes from them
