This video took a long time to be done (around 3 or 4 weeks).
The video shows a compilation of Sonic, Tails and Knuckles glitches in their Action Stages and Adventure Fields (end of the video)

I thought i knew everything about Sonic DX. I've played it hundreds of times since i was like 9. But you. You took it to a whole new level

Knuckles the Echidna would never return to Earth. He would remain floating in the void of space forever, stuck in a form neither animal, vegetable or mineral. Begging for death but unable to die, Knuckles eventually stopped thinking.

I can't believe Sonic Team was generous enough to give collision detection to (almost) the *whole of Egg Carrier*.
Now, I wouldn't call this a "glitches compilation", more like "a daring guide to clipping out of existence"-but holy crap, that entire video is masterfully done, and it only gets better as you watch it. The Knuckles part in the Lost World blew my mind especially! And what the hell are those cubes under the Mystic Ruins?.. I've never seen them before, probably some weird debug textures they forgot to remove. It's amusing how developers rightfully remove physical colliders from some parts of the game where the player shouldn't appear in the first place (and then neglect the fact that he can still totally do it), but in some places they do exactly the opposite and add meshes to stupidly unreachable places.
Been playing this for more than 10 years now, still finding something new. Thank you for showing that off, I will be glad to try replicating these!
Usually meshes are leftover from some earlier piece of geometry in a level. I've seen it in fangames and AAA. Cool stuff.
The little hurray Sonic gave Tails for glitching made my day... It's the little things

+Connor B They're his Fighting Glove power-up and they let him use the Maximum Heat Knuckle Attack, which is his version of Sonic's Light Speed Attack. You can find them by going to the Mystic Ruins jungle(Where Lost World and Final Egg are) and gliding along the right side of the canyon. You'll find it on a cliff above the trees. Or, if you want a slightly easier time of things, go Big's house, climb up that tree that has an emblem in it and then climb up the wall from there and it should be nearby.

It's so weird how much collision there is on the egg carrier. I love it.
I looked into that little tunnel you went in near the beginning of Casinopolis' garbage dump.
I've found trails of rings and an Electric Shield, as if the tunnel was meant to be put into the game as the starting area. I'm surprised Sonic Team decided to just leave them there instead of just deleting it.
You know, i love these kind of things in my game...
Seriously, when i learned to clip through walls using the burger guy in station square, i just went crazy trying to clip each and every corner of the city xDD!
Then i learned to use spin dash jump...and at that point a had total freedom in the game.
I literaly tried stunts everywhere and finding areas where you wasn't supposed to be was very rewarding for some reason!(I found the way to the upper area in Casinopolis by myself, and it was awesome :D)
I know that it doesn't make the game better by any means, but it did provided me good memories. Strange isn't it?

Maybe 06 really was adventure 3- they were just paying homage to the glitches in this beloved game!

Ah watching this video brings back memories especally since you played this on pc just like me. As a kid i just loved to see what it was like to get past this wall that im not allowed to pass if only i knew these glitches as a kid when i still had the game. I would have abosolutly looooooooved these glitches. Thanks for putting up this video. Its nice to know that someone else care about getting out of boundries in this game. And whats with the weird blocks at the ruins?
God damn flying into the voids is some of the most unsettling shit! I've done a couple of these and every time I enter a void it's just too weird to handle, why do I keep trying?!

I remember doing stuff like this as a kid, trying to figure out how to break through the environment.
I had some success, but nothing like this. This really shows off how large the Egg Carrier is.

Ahh, this brings back so many memories. I wasn't able to exploit many glitches, but I remember discovering that I could homing attack through the sewer entrance to reach Twilight Park early. That was a staple each time I played the game. One time I even did it before grabbing the Light Speed Shoes and the game locked me into the Twilight Park elevator afterwards. Had to spin-dash into the corner for like five minutes before I was able to clip back out. Those were the days.
i remember being able to get out of bounds in the egg carrier many times. i always wondered why all of that stuff is solid if you werent supposed to get there.
It's just very entertaining seeing how much you can break this game.

What about the glitches as Big the Cat, Amy Rose, E-102 Gamma, and in the Super Sonic Story?

I remember there was a RARE glitch...when you talk to knuckles and eggman while they're lying down because of chaos (during the super sonic story) and depending on something you do (I don't remember specifics) they will stay there forever...literally...no matter which character story...if you are able to go to the master emerald area of course

Excellent video. It just goes to show that if you find an exploit and use it in one spot it's guaranteed to work in more than just one area and Sonic games are full of stuff like this. In general, I loved the original Dreamcast version and completed every bit of it and still prefer it over DX for whatever reason.
At 6:17, that corridor thing is where final egg was supposed to end. Instead of the goal being the room before it. Can't remember if there was a reason it was cut

Really great compliation, and also great job on the editing. It was enjoyable watching one of my favorite classic sonic games get completely decimated.

what do u use to video this?
I found another that isn't on this video. U have to be able to spin dash. Go to the shop in station square where you exit the sewers and there is the special chao egg. In the corner closest to the egg, spin dash repeatedly. But I think u have to move the egg and get the fake man statue whatever it is outside a restaraunt and place it where the egg was 4 it to work, and it doesn't work all the time.
Yeah I know but the glitch only works with the man out of the things I've tried.

it's my fav. sonic game, and with all the glitches it's awsome and funny xD
but I hate 2 glitches:
1: if you are too fast with sonic in speed highway you fly out the way (sonic... SPEED highway.. too fast.... mhm...)
2: sonic's endboss egg viper, if you are finished him, sonic jump on the platform, camera rotate, sonic jumps into the death...
(it's happend all times if I play it -.-)
I've been a huge Sonic fan since the age of 9, but I have a weird question:
I remember seeing it on Sonic X, but I don't remember the purpose of Speed Highway in Sonic's story... There are no cutscenes or anything to explain it, it just, IDK, pops out of nowhere...

Yeah speed highway is described afterward as "I raced all over the midnight city, and couldn't find Amy."

I wonder how many of those could be recreated in the Dreamcast version... I spent so much time of my childhood trying to clip through walls and "explore the inexplorable", but I couldn't accomplish much. I know the DC version was cleaner, but I probably lacked the technique too XD Sadly, my poor DC is dead. Oh well, gotta try those in the PC version anyway ^^

There's a glitch JUST like 18:00 except it's at the very end of Eggman's ship O: I can't remember which end but it's one where you're able to freeroam quite a bit. If I remember correctly you fly up to one of the corners consistently and you'll be able to clip through that invisible wall, giving you.. well, pretty much the same result as in 18:00 but just in a different place XD

18:00 I got there on accident with sonic, Go out of the area where he was with tails, go right, and spindash into the red wall.
Fairly certain that this is a glitch too: As Sonic in Station Square, Spindash on the hood of a car and jump before you go past the windshield and you will launched really high into the air. you go higher with cop cars and taxis, though the sports cars are easier to do it on. kinda the same thing that you've done all throughout the video as Sonic, but these are mobile lol

Can someone make a Sonic game (or any game at all) in which the correct path to get to the finish is blocked and you have to escape the boundaries of the game to reach it.

I messed around with the sonic in the twinkle park track without a Kate and I got past the loops without the camera taking a dump and I can't seem to get past the last jump but I'm still experimenting

I found a glitch where if you do the spinny tail attack (ribbon) on a slanted surface when you go off you defy gravity and fly around while doing the spinny tail attack facing the wrong way

Can someone help? I'm stuck on knuckles story. I had to beat lost world and I did and I'm now back at mystic ruins with nothing to do! Can someone tell me what's going on?
There is also a glitch if you are tail wher he firts got his purple bow if use the tail spin attack on one of the slanted houses and move off you can temprarly fly while spinning
After watching this, I agree. Difference is these are exploitable.

That's literally how I even got myself to this video, it's cause I thought the exact same thing! Lmao
Really it's not so bad though since a lot of this doesn't effect the game play really, since they're in a bunch of places you'd really have to look for rather than awful gameplay glitches..
There was one that pissed me off with Big though in the Ice cap stage I think it was? It made fishing hella hard :CC
you can also get Amy Tails and Knuckles in Emerald Coast in all version except the 2010 version but I can't remember how
You can actually get all of them in Emerald Coast in 2010 release as well.
To do it as Tails, you have to go out of bounds by being pushed by the door that goes to Casinopolis area, and fly until Emerald Coast from there.
As Knuckles and as Amy, you have to bring the statue of the main Station Square area to the Emerald Coast entrance, and place it in the right place so you can get pushed by it and enter the level.
If you don't understand it very well, there are a lot of videos showing these tricks, just search for them :P
In all seriousness, Sonic Adventure is almost as glitchy as Sonic '06!

No, unless you have already destroyed the monkey. If you dont destroy the monkey, the loading zone for red mountain does not spawn.
