Namo Arihantanam is bow to those who are away from 4 karma,enemies & are very near to their salvation Namo Siddhanam is bow to those who are away from all 8 Karma & have no affection, attachment,hate,discrimination,sufferings & have salvated Namo Aayariyanam is bow to those who tells us Rationale Conduct. Namo Uvvajjhayanam is bow to those who tells us the knowledge of Scriptures. Namo Loye SaVv Sahunam is I bow to all those Saints who follow the conduct, who are working for their salvation.
Namo means to bow/pay homage and Namokar means bowing to various true gods who are pure souls. This Mantra(Hym) is the oldest Hym and is said that it is since the beginning of life and will exist till life does not cease i.e., from eternal infinite beginning to endless end, for always so, it is also called Anadhi-Nidhan Mantra. This mantra is supposed to be the origin of the all mantra of every religion because the word "OM" or "AMEEN" came from it...
This Mantra is the father of all 84 lac mantra that are recited in other religions also..., just the difference is of language and if someone speaks it, hears it, not even the Black Magic, Ghosts, Halloween etc., no one gives pain to you... hence this is also called Aparajit Mantra, Aparajit means that cannot be beaten up by anyone... Its literally a magic.... There are 108 names of his mantra namely navkar mantra, namokar mantra, panch paramesthi mantra, Aparajit Mantra, Namaskar Mantra, etc.
When ever I am alone and depressed or frustrated.. I just play this mantra and I feel so good. It gives me some kind of motivation. I have blind faith in Mahavir Swami.. Please become Vegetarian and forward this message to all - 'Live and Let Live' !!
Siddha are those who are released from all 8 Karma and do not have any body, shape, name, etc. They are ultimate Gods and are salvated. Aacharya are those saints who teaches us the Rationale Conduct... Word Aacharya is made from the word Aacharn(Conduct). Upadhyay(Uvajjhayanam) are the saints who tells and teaches the scriptures of jainism. Muni(Sahunam) are the normal saints who follow the real conduct, knowledge, vision told in the religion.
Next 4 Lines tells the Mahima(Power) of the Mantra This Namokar Mantra where we do 5 bows only on reading, writing, chanting and thinking, etc. removes the pains, griefs, diseases, fears, sins and also fill life with happiness and enjoyment and becomes the reason of salvation at the end i.e., can make anyone siddha".
Every Living being is bounded with 8 Karma... namely, age, name, caste, pains, love, etc.
Arihants are those who have removed their 4 Karma and who are away from the enemies... ARI means Enemy but, who are our enemies...?? Its the violence, possession, lust, sex etc... HANT means end...
