Matt speaks about his career path and how he realised the building industry was for him after completing his degree in early childhood education, working with his father’s painting business and gaining experience with commercial fit-outs. This realisation lead him to Master Buildings SA where he completed the relevant courses in order to obtain his building license and then start his own business.
Matt discusses the hard work that goes into getting a new business off the ground and the impact that COVID had, but he and his team kept moving forward and were dedicated to making it the success it is today.
Will and Matt also discuss CBR’s stand-out and memorable projects, the roadblocks that came along and how they were able to come out the other side on schedule and of top quality. In addition to this, Matt gives advice for anyone wanting to be successful in the building and construction industry and what it takes to prosper in today’s market.
