G'day Jocelyn! Well, you visited my favourite shop again and boy oh boy, I felt like a kid in a candy store! All those wonderfully beautiful and eclectic pieces and you get to take them home, lucky you! I know I keep pestering you to do a longer video but I truly enjoy watching you shop and I sense your excitement when you find "the" piece that just takes your breath away. You are an absolute joy to tag along with on your jolly jaunts and give many of us still in lockdown (yep, we've got another six weeks of lockdown here in certain parts of Victoria, Australia) a chance to venture out and about. Thanks Jocelyn. I hope you and all your loved ones are safe and keeping well during this restless time. By the way, my favourite pieces were the two Chinese/Japanese figurines in the white and black. Almost reminded me of the French mime Pierrot Clown dolls which I just adore. Bought one as a lamp 35 years ago and I still have it. Some things are just too priceless to part with. Anyway, have a wonderful day Miss CLL. Seeya from the Land Down Under!
That little round tin in the box of dolls and tins was Horner from County Durham, northern England 🇬🇧. They sold toffee in those tins when I was a little girl in the early 1950s, and I still have several myself, one is black with little birds on it, and another has a nursery rhyme character. Also, Durham is the county just south of Northumberland where I come from. Fancy one of those tins showing up in a box in the US. Small world. 🤗
Oh how I wish I could go there just for the furniture!! It is beautiful, in great shape and wonderfully priced!! This is my favorite shop , BY FAR, that you frequent! They just have beautiful things of all kinds!!
food for thought, after settling in and seeing how successful it is (which you will be rocking it) consider a workshop. i know you're a busy bee, but its just an idea. there are people out there wants to learn the skills you've acquired.
OMG.....FINDERS KEEPERS!!!!.....as soon as you said we were going in, my heart raced....I feel like a kid let loose in a toy store.......SO MUCH FUN!!!!......:-D
The Florentine trays at 7:40 we’re beautiful! I always pick them up as I can get about 35-40 for ones in that condition and size. Great shopping spree. Wish I had a FK near me.
Horse planter with all those faux plants in it was worth it if they come together having been looking to buy faux plants recently you probably have about $25 worth of plants alone !! That table you liked looked like it had a door as a top And that shaped wooden bowl was wonderfully mid century I’d have been tempted
Your Pfaltzgraff set appears to date from 1930's to early 40's during the period they transitioned from utilitarian crockery to dinnerware. Nice find. Love the glaze, it reminds me of Lavonia by Weller.
Ooh love some of these finds!!!! I always love the bid room..... are you guys considering that in your new store? That light fixture was to die for!!!🧡💙🐦
Can you explain more about what you meant when you were describing the asian figures? What do you look for when you study what they are wearing to decipher if they are Japanese or Chinese? Thank you! Always learn a lot from you :)
@@CrazyLampLady I guess what I'm trying to say is that you are introducing me to so many antiques and old pieces. I made light of the Dollar Tree cup because I work there but also I can actually say that my eye is getting better and better when I look for good pieces ☺️ All thanks to you Joss!
In case you return to that shop, check out the "wooden bowl" on a pedestal....you did not pick it up, but I would have because I think it may be a teak Dansk bowl... very marketable.
jeannie ferdinande yep, consignment shops are curated and they’re picky about what they consign because they have to sell stuff, unlike the thrift shops where things are donated and “owners” aren’t making a living from the store.
As usual this was a wonderful way to spend 20+ mins! All those treasures! My favourite was the humongous gigantic chandelier lamp. Mindblowingly fantastic 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
I am a lot older than you , but it made me happy to know that you too sometimes JUST WANT TO GO HOME ! 😆😁 Whoever thought we would feel this way after quarantine ? 😂 But, it’s true because shopping is EXHAUSTING some days !!! 😁😁 Glad you went home . Hopefully , you were able to relax !!!!! 😁
That Finders Keepers store is Amazing. You got a lot of fantastic items. I dont think that you spent to much. I actually thought that it would have been way more😀 Thanks for taking us along with you. My Aunt lives in Masontown Pennsylvania. I might have to see if they have any in Uniontown or Morgan town WV. next time I visit her. Be safe and healthy. 😉
The more you visit antique stores Google interesting things. Talk with other people who enjoy older things you pick up on alot more than you imagine. Find you someone who enjoys thrifting antique's flea mkts.swap meets etc. You would be surprised what you will notice by name and who it's maker is.
If I were you Jocelyn, I'd bid on just about anything I would want because what do you have to lose? You shop there enough and I bet they'll hold stuff for you, especially since you're such a good customer there
that lenox bird plate you put back just cause it said lenox on the back, the name lenox doesn't detract from its beauty, if someone hung it on the wall you couldn't even see the dreaded word Lenox at all !
I love finders keepers but sadly we don't have any around here.... darn it! Thanks for the vid / love love love waiting for your new stuff to show up on youtube!!! And hopefully you're going to the flea market today because THOSE vids are bomb!
🦋If you have a Habitat Store near you, they have really nice couches there. At least in NC they do. I purchased a beautiful Oak Table for my dining room for $20.
Barbara Youlio my habitat’s prices are way too high in Westwood NJ. I stopped patronizing the store. The really good stuff is always in the back room with a sold sign on it. Something tells me someone has an in and they get all the good furniture before it is even put on the floor. Just my opinion. I know all goes to charity but come on.
You have the yellow Pfalgraph leaf bowl/dish. Can you tell me what it’s worth I have a green one I keep my air plants in and I worry my husband bob will break it as some of my other things have been. We are getting old and not so steady.
your knowledge is impressive, videos are great. love your high cheekbones and wonderful smile. you have any American Indian blood in your family? sure looks like it. I happen to be Choctaw from Oklahoma
If I get a vote, I much prefer voice-overs. I'm so ADHD that I hear every conversation (your mic picks up every male voice in a 50 yd radius) & item scraping on the display - like my ears hurt. (milk glass mug & the 2 trays near the end 20:00is) You are so much quieter in the stores that I have to turn my volume up, then "s c r a p"🔊🔊🔊. I really learn more in the voice overs & it seems that you have more freedom to say everything you were wanting to say in the store. An occasional check-this-out live moment is good, but I just really appreciate being able to hear you.
Really like the painting of the rabits that you picked up when you first came into the store, but have to agree that $25.00 is a bit steep. Do they mark items down if it has been there awhile?
Love this store! I so wish there was one just as nice near me. Or maybe I just need to take a road trip🙂. No family in Pennsylvania to watch my dog while I venture though 😕
After watching your video I went to a Goodwill. Im not sure what ill do with the items I picked it just looked like so much fun watching what you do. I bought 2 earthenware items both cookie jars one is a pumpkin and the other is a owl the pumpkin one is in very good condition the owl has one little chip on it. I know u try not to pick them with a chip but I just had to get it 😂. I looked up the owl on eBay they want. $ 50.00 for it. The pumpkin $ 39.99. I bought them both for $4.99 each. But I only paid paid .99 cents each it was a pink tag sale but now what I have them just sitting here 😂 I may go to one of our thrift stores to see. Oh ya I also seen a bunch of things from Italy. Thank you
I'm guessing modern but I so need that monkey beside the amazing bookends. Right before you found the duck. I'd put that in what I call my palm tree room. It's really back porch. I stay there more than I do inside. Oh that silver tray w handles. I think you told it had acorn mark. I don't right off no who made it but I no I wished I had that. Lol. Good day shopping. Enjoy the rest of your day!
I still believe good modern pieces, selected carefully would sell for good money - people want unusual unique pieces new or old and ruffle glass bowls surely have a finite market
Love Finders Keepers! Always great things to see! I thought I saw several pieces of Czech pottery that you didn't mention: was it priced too high or damaged? Just curious why you didn't pick it up since you mentioned Czech pieces specifically in the intro. :)

Do you like the moonlight glass?
Pelican!
Love pink and blue!
Loved the Art Nouveau lady bookends!!!

Beruthiel45 I was just reading a book about Robert the Bruce and he terrorized that region in the early 1300’s.
Love the horse & colt planter.
I LOVED that picture when you first walked in the store for $25!!
Oh how I wish I could go there just for the furniture!! It is beautiful, in great shape and wonderfully priced!!
This is my favorite shop , BY FAR, that you frequent! They just have beautiful things of all kinds!!
Hey, when you're tired you have to listen to your body. Good for you for going home. 💛
That horse planter was fabulous!
food for thought, after settling in and seeing how successful it is (which you will be rocking it) consider a workshop. i know you're a busy bee, but its just an idea. there are people out there wants to learn the skills you've acquired.
The buffalo vanity jar sold for $200.00! Good eye! Always follow your instincts. Don't let others make you second guess yourself.
The mother and baby horse were sooooooo good!!!
I agree....I'd have snatched them up. Living in rural Nevada , they'd be perfect here, We love our wild horses here.
Do you have wild horses?
The bouquet of flowers picture (in the box with the small duck and horse head) you said had a concave glass. Actually it is convex. It bubbles out.
Fantastic Fenton finds! I soooo wish there was a Finders Keepers near me!!!
Me too!!!
I love that Finders Keepers store. Their furniture is fabulous!
I'd give you $50 for the horse planter.
Horse planter with all those faux plants in it was worth it if they come together having been looking to buy faux plants recently you probably have about $25 worth of plants alone !!
That table you liked looked like it had a door as a top And that shaped wooden bowl was wonderfully mid century I’d have been tempted
Im into carved wood and I liked the carved tree. I have 3 different sizes of the siamese cats and a lg carved rabbit.
The two ladies figures on the desk were Mrs Albee's they are awards Avon gives its top top selling consultants.
I think you should change your name to The Crazy Bird Lady. Just kidding.
Wish we had a finders keepers here in Minnesota! Another fun trip you got some fun stuff♥️♥️♥️
Your Pfaltzgraff set appears to date from 1930's to early 40's during the period they transitioned from utilitarian crockery to dinnerware. Nice find. Love the glaze, it reminds me of Lavonia by Weller.
Wow! This Finder's Keepers is a huge store with a lot of fun things! I'm sure you have fun checking these things out!
One day, when it’s relevant, could you describe how you tell the difference between EAPG and other glass? I’ve been meaning to ask that for a while.
The yellow “duck” was actually supposed to be a stork! You know, having a baby and the stork delivers it. I think I’m showing my age! 😂
You’re not alone, LoL!
The red couches are perfect for a studio bedroom!
Omg...I wish I had your eye. You are really good at what you do. Thank you for sharing!!
The green Floraline was only $5, those date prices mess me up too. Great haul, I wish we had Finders in KY
I just LOVE this store!!
Love that Finders Keepers. So many great things to look at. Is St Vinnies closed.?That was a sweet little shop
I just sold an unopened bag of the green corn cob holders which are Pampered Chef for $25 on eBay. These are no longer made by Pampered Chef.
I have those and love them! 🙌🏻
Go back and get the horse & colt. It was beautiful :-)
I collect piano babies and that one was awesome! I would love it!
Oh that chandelier!!! The bids were like $3.50 then jumped to only $40. Amazing, I also love this store..too far away, sigh.
@22:00 The art deco woman bookends recently sold on Ebay for $95.00.
Parian Ware: A new one for me. Thanks, Jocelyn.
So glad you and I are 5' 10" tall. We can reach everything!♥
Ooh love some of these finds!!!! I always love the bid room..... are you guys considering that in your new store? That light fixture was to die for!!!🧡💙🐦
It would be really cool to have, but I’m not sure what kind of work would go into it. I wanted the piano baby so bad. 😂
Can you explain more about what you meant when you were describing the asian figures? What do you look for when you study what they are wearing to decipher if they are Japanese or Chinese? Thank you! Always learn a lot from you :)
THAT HUGE WOOD CHANDELIER...LOVE IT..WE HAVE A CHANDELIER BIGGER THEN THAT IN OUR FOYER BY FRONT DOOR
I enjoy your videos so much and learn from your commentary on everything. Thanks!
That piano baby was beautifull you never see tham for sale in England i would love one.
Great haul. The horse planter you left behind was awesome.
I love the donkeys with carts but everytime I find one its got a missing leg or broken ear.😪
at 5:15 I love the weird bird man in the cabinet.
The buy-it-now box that you bought with the horse head in it had a Dollar Tree wine glass on top LOL.
It was meant to distract. 😂 There was an awesome mirror from Denmark in the bottom.
@@CrazyLampLady I guess what I'm trying to say is that you are introducing me to so many antiques and old pieces. I made light of the Dollar Tree cup because I work there but also I can actually say that my eye is getting better and better when I look for good pieces ☺️ All thanks to you Joss!

My thrift stores never looks this good, no matter how hard I dig there is nothing good.
Mine too. The thrift stores where I live are dirty!
Terry McGreevy I thought she said it was a consignment shop, maybe that is the difference....just a thought🌻
jeannie ferdinande yep, consignment shops are curated and they’re picky about what they consign because they have to sell stuff, unlike the thrift shops where things are donated and “owners” aren’t making a living from the store.

at 19:30 that pig thing in the back of the shelf is very interesting.
You passed right by the Czech pottery when you pulled out that Italian dish with the green handles. GO BACK!!
wkwkwk, i want go there buy that

I love love the sea urchin dish.
Heck this goodwill is better then the major stores in my area.

Never heard of "piano babies" before today! I thought for sure I'd misheard you until I Googled. Who knew! Well, you did ;0)

Piano babies are so not my thing!
@@lynnedelacy2841 Yeah, I don't think I'll be developing a piano baby obsession any time soon ;0)
That is definitely an old Pfaltzgraff mark!
I think someone would buy the flour canister. It's beautiful!
A harder sell for sure but I’m sure it will sell
Jocelyn, we are in a pandemic. We need the bell video. 🤣🤣🤣
If I were you Jocelyn, I'd bid on just about anything I would want because what do you have to lose? You shop there enough and I bet they'll hold stuff for you, especially since you're such a good customer there
Great finds as always!
Red red 🍷 had me jamming out 🤪. I think the subject matter and the coloring on the horse planter is better than average. Probably could have got $40
that lenox bird plate you put back just cause it said lenox on the back, the name lenox doesn't detract from its beauty, if someone hung it on the wall you couldn't even see the dreaded word Lenox at all !

Wow, I wish I had a place like this near me where you can bid or buy! Especially the box lots, I love digging for treasures. 😂
Come on Joc, it's too early to start drinking, "it's got a bird on it". 😂
Totally would’ve bought the bluebird plate. It had a bird on it!
You’re great to watch!
I just LOVE this store!!! One day I will make it there 💖 until then I'll live through you Jocelyn 😊
Antique and thrift stores seem to always have very loud music in them.
Sometimes people are looking to replace certain pieces of canisters

19:49 Continental Aluminum Tray...Nice 👍😎👍 How Much??? 🤔🤔🤔
Lesson learned? Never leave the horse behind!
The York mark is Pfaltzgraff from the 30’s.
I love the jamaican music that were playing in the background they has good taste
You have the yellow Pfalgraph leaf bowl/dish. Can you tell me what it’s worth I have a green one I keep my air plants in and I worry my husband bob will break it as some of my other things have been. We are getting old and not so steady.
I think your yellow “duck” planter is actually a pelican.
Or sort of a creepy looking duck

Saw small mushroom canisters while at a huge antique mall today. Thought of you.
A painting with critters😁
Love what you do.
Remember, Eagles are birds too ! 😊
Really like the painting of the rabits that you picked up when you first came into the store, but have to agree that $25.00 is a bit steep.

Not gonna lie... Was properly creeped out by that little bowl with the feet! Brrr, you can keep it! 😂😂
Love this store! I so wish there was one just as nice near me. Or maybe I just need to take a road trip🙂. No family in Pennsylvania to watch my dog while I venture though 😕
I’m crazy about the donkey cart and the Japanese figure. Couldn’t find them on EBay

I’ve been trying to find this video for weeks! I love the rabbit painting when you first arrive. Do you know if they will ship?
What state and city are you near?
I see so many things you don't like that I do!!!

Please mention which Finders Keepers when shopping there…
The piano baby is worth 395.00!!!
WHY do they play the radio/MUSIC SO LOUD EVERYWHERE?? Just saying!!!
