discussing original BLACK SABBATH drummer Bill Ward's and him not being on the last Sabbath album "13", Ozzy stated: transctibed by blabbermouth.net - "I can't remember why Bill didn't do it. I've gotta be truthful. It wasn't really BLACK SABBATH because Bill wasn't there. I mean, if you had Ginger Baker playing with THE BEATLES, it wouldn't be THE BEATLES."
Ozzy also talked about the final show of Black Sabbath's "The End" tour, .. when asked if he was glad it was done at that moment, Osbourne stated: "Yeah, but I was sad that Bill wasn't there. I mean, I mean, Tommy [Clufetos], my drummer [for my solo band], did a great job [stepping in for Bill], but he ain't Bill Ward."
and whether Ozzy is happy with the legend of BLACK SABBATH, Ozzy stated: "No. Because it wasn't BLACK SABBATH that finished it. It's unfinished. If they wanted to do one more gig with Bill, I would jump at the chance. Do you know what would be cool? If we went to a club or something unannounced and we just got up and did it. We started up in a club."

No Bill Ward , no Black Sabbath

Billy is very loyal to Ozzy, their friendship is very deep, it is truly the end of an Era. As much as us the fans dislike it the fact is that typically the drummers take the most wear and tear as the ravages of time keep tearing us down. Sadly the brutal relentless forward March of time never ceases. Ozzy is 100% correct it isn't BS without BW!
I thought I once heard Geezer say another one will never happen again, because of his wife. She will not allow it.
I hope I don't sound selfish, because I know Ozzy's health is not where it needs to be, but I genuinely wish that he and the boys would get Black Sabbath together for one last time. They are one of my all time top favorites, they are up there with Van Halen, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Accept, Motörhead, W.A.S.P, etc... I would always love to see the original Black Sabbath, atleast once in my life, I haven't seen W.A.S.P yet, I know I'll never see Motörhead, or Dio, I wouldn't want to see Accept unless they get Udo back, I've seen the others, but man, what I wouldn't give to see the original Black Sabbath.
I wish they'd just do an album and put it out. Ozzy can't tour
Its all because of money and sharon on why bill wasnt involved. And ozzy sits there going "i dunno why he wasnt involved with the 13 album....truthfully..."
