- Ford has long been a trailblazer in the truck industry, and its latest efforts have significantly revitalized the Ranger model, making it a standout in the American truck market. The company's introduction of the all-new Ranger, along with the Ranger Raptor, marks a pivotal expansion in Ford's comprehensive truck lineup.
The Ranger models are part of a broader refresh that Ford has undertaken since last spring. This refresh includes updates to the F-150 and Super Duty trucks as well, with these three models together accounting for 90% of Ford’s truck sales. The first quarter of the year saw Ford assembling a notable 144,000 of these new trucks.
According to Andrew Frick, president of Ford Blue, the company has reached a new peak in its truck offerings. "We have never before introduced so many new truck models at the same time. Ford now provides a range that includes gas, hybrid, diesel, and electric full-size pickups, plus models ranging from the compact Maverick to the robust Super Duty, and even off-road variants for each."
The resurgence in the DIY trend, along with an increasing interest in compact and versatile vehicles, has fueled a growth in demand for trucks like the Ranger. Truck sales in the U.S. rose by 4.5% last year, a trend that is likely to continue with the introduction of Ford's latest models.
The Ranger, in particular, has been reimagined to cater to both city dwellers and adventurers. It combines Ford’s traditional toughness with advanced technology and design, making it a suitable choice for urban use and off-road excursions alike.
Ford's commitment to American manufacturing remains strong. The company leads the U.S. automotive industry in production and employs the most UAW-represented hourly workers, with a significant portion contributing to the Ranger production. A new Ford truck rolls off the American assembly line every 33 seconds, emphasizing the scale and efficiency of Ford's operations.

Happy to see these finally rolling down the assembly line! To all of those I saw in this video and others not seen, THANK YOU!
That’s my job!!!!!!!!
My Ranger Raptor is supposed to be delivered next week. I can't wait.
I really want to order one
How long was yours in the Production phase?
@@sierra1boy I don't know. I contacted a bunch of dealers. One dealer told me theirs was getting delivered between 4/15 and 4/21. So I went in on 4/4 and made the deal and gave a deposit.
I hope one day to have one.
Amazing ford ranger raptor production process
Mine is shelter green and due to be built in july. It's cool to see the production line
Waiting on a VIN number, gonna be badass.
Congrats man!! Enjoy it!
Cool👍🏻😊
I've owned two S550 mustangs in 2 years. Absolutely the build quality has gone down the drain to the point where I'll never recommend anyone to get another Ford again. Such a shame
Anyone know approximately how long the Production phase is?
When am I going to get mine? I ordered 3/1/24 & my build date is week of May 6? Could it be sooner?😊
Nope! Your in the back of the line with many other orders ahead of you
Just got my vin
The 1st nine (9) seconds of the video shouldn’t represent all UAW workers
But it does. Represented 100%.
Make faster.i want my raptor
Is this plant union?
All Ford Plants in the USA are union under the UAW
Yes it is, why do you ask?
Nothing implied. Hopefully it contributes to a better work environment and good cars.
@@Mosrmosr993 it’s because it was union is why in Fall last year there was a massive strike on Ford, GM, and Stellantis
@@Mosrmosr993 Hopefully yes...... Sorry, I was just curious if you knew something. UAW
Lolol! People have lost it in America. The need for specialized new vehicles and ordering is insane.
No wonder more than half of America is paycheck to paycheck
These have lost a bit of value in Australia since launch … poor towing and too much fuel use when compared to standard Ranger V6
ppl looked bored af and didnt rly care... saw alot of these type of vid and this one get the cake for fed up employe...
Thats because they didnt film the people that be happy and laughing while working. Looks like they wanted it to look like all business . But i mean did you really want them to be pop and lockn like i do on my job lmao. They leave us cool ones off screen. Dont wanna get a bad rap with us haha
Well if you build the same thing 500 times a day over and over again all day everyday you’ll be bored out of your mind too
Here I am thinking my truck will be built by squared away men with curly mustaches in white lab coats singing a jolly tune..
The person who does the QA at this plant is really bad at their job
Ford Company should improve their engine, very weak compared to Toyota engines, so work on that.
LOL, no wonder Ford quality sucks. Just look at all of those DEI hires. Now go look up a Porsche factory and see the difference. No 400 lb lazy workers there.
Extremely rude! Way to judge people for their size! Also your comparing Porsche (which are made in a different country) to Ford USA… Ford does not discriminate like your ass is doing!
What are you even talking about?
@@thekingmandude he talking about the large overweight people in the videos.. probably specifically the first one at the very beginning … extremely rude he is
@@thekingmandude You must be a union worker. Denial.
Hah, I work close to this guy. He's a total unit, but, he shows up to work everyday does that job. The DEI hires, the "native" Detroit, Inkster and Wayne population are the problem.
Not much care goes into making these
😂😂😂
It’s a disposable item, like a broom or toilet paper.
