- Опубліковано 21 лют 2023
- In this Blender tutorial, I will show you how I create photorealistic product render in Blender, doing a box render from the scratch to finish.
The main purpose of this tutorial is to help more beginners to model some completed objects in Blender and how to light super reflective subjects in Blender.

This is the best packaging modeling video and the reason why I will be using Blender from now on. Thank you.
great work! Thank you!
I am so thankful for this tutorial. It was really helpful to me. I think I'm going to watch it many times.
You're so welcome
Your tutorial is by far the best box making tutorial on youtube. I have been trying to make boxes from dielines a few times over a couple years.. they always came out wrong because of the missing geometry in the fold areas. Now i realize what i was missing. thanks! I always wonder though if perfect blender boxes look less realistic than actual product boxes with a little bit of curves, sags and bends.
Thank you so much for this tutorial. At my job we need a box image for our store and instead of taking a photograph, I proposed making a render but haven't really done this kind of modeling before so this is exactly what I needed 😄
Thank you so much! Can't wait to see more
You're so welcome!
Thanks for this Wenbo!
Great video
Thank you 🤓
Great tutorial! Thank you for the video.
Great tutorial, thanks!!!!
Amazing I dont know how to thank you really you are one of the greatest prof of blender thanks a lot from algeria north africa
love watching your videos
😊 Thank you
Súper tutorial, thanks a lot. Saludos desde México
Thanks
Great video Wenbo!
Thank you 🤓
Thank you so much Wenbo Zhao. you are my boss
You are amazing sir
Thanks much brother.
Thank you 🤓
UV texture you exported from Blender and later added texture on in Photoshop. Do you then simply add PNG texture into the Image texture node and it aligns without a problem? Thanks for the video. Super helpful and interesting.
非常不错的视频!
you are the best 😍
Thanks 🥰
your tutorials is awesome, but I was wondering if you could make a tutorial of plastic bag, like a coffee bag or stand up pouch with cloth simulation, so that we can get realistic wrinkle
imma save this

Great tutorial! Just a question... the image in the uv map is for the outside of the box but how I do to apply another image on the inside of the box
Use 2 difference uv map
Nice video
thanks🤓
Im doing a brochure that folds in on intself (180 degree rotations instead of 90 degrees). Do i need to have 5 edges at the crease instead of 3?
my image texture are applying inside of the box also is there a way to show it only on outside
bevel vertex is ctrl + shift +b to me. example for someone if it not working and click z for curve
Thanks for sharing 🥰
Thanks a lot. I have a question: how did you do a red color inside the box?
Might be a little late but look for a tutorial on backfacing node blender
currently have a client who needs box renders. try to follow polygon pen's tutorial which is in cinema 4D but whenever I exported that model in blender I was having UV distorting issue. but finally I found your video. I'm one of your subscriber but why didn't I check your channel? -_- anyway, Thanks a loooooot for your videos. I do product rendering so your tutorial helped me alot, specially lighting a scene. Can you make a tutorial on how to make a realistic looking mylar bag. That would be something great. Thanks again.
you are so welcome
you are the best #wenbo
Thank you 🥰
Did it automatically copy the image to the inside of the box??
My cube UV lines just come up all smooshed when I do the UV map. Did you have any remedy for this?? the Png is perfect, but the lines that represent the box I've made is all bent and not to the proper specs. Thank you!
The same thing happens to me, could you fix it?
I really love your work but I hav a question. Where do you get your references?
seach internet like a crazy lol
you did labels in photoshop for outside , does inside also carries same methods?
Yes
When I created the background white plane, it appears normally in the Viewport, but when switching to Camera View, the actual plane itself disappears. You can see the white reflection in the black floor, but it cuts off--disappears completely above where the floor plane ends. I don't know how to fix this.
Select the background and go to visibility settings, set the cameras ray, then you can see it
where can i get reference image
how do you make the dieline?
Photoshop with some reference image
Why when I unwrap my box it turns out to be a HORRIBLE MESS?! I even traced a real die cut to make it
50:35 ??? I am doing this for the first time and I do not understand this, can you help me?
Don’t understand you question
@@WenboZhao I'm doing the same things as you, but when I hit shading I get a different result. What should I do to set this up? Can we contact you on Instagram about this issue?
@@WenboZhao I have homework please help me
you didnt show how to import the file you made from photoshop back to blender, I think It is an important process for beginners.
Thanks for noticing
Now I’m stuck here
I have a concern, I am new to Blander and 3D, I wanted to make a lantern for Christmas with a die that I had made but I couldn't do it, do you think you can help me please, I have no idea how to fold its faces :( I leave you an image of the die , thank you for your attention
I'm sorry I couldn't attach a photo.
Can you share the obj file or the blend file please
man this is soo dificult how you did this simple box could be done way faster more simple and also easly editable. can not tell you in just comment sory... but there is easier wasy... first one would be to use knife, second one to use knife project, creating orientations based on edge... that would be the main things that would help
Really great tip, thanks for sharing 🥰
as i saw from few of your videos, you never show CAMERA settings
p.s. this video is better to watch with x2 speed 🙂
Bruh my shi won’t bevel
Oh damn. Ctrl+Shft+B hehehe…
Тот случай, когда пришёл посмотреть фотореалистичный рендер в Блендере, а по факту 55 минут из 59 смотришь, как моделируют примитивную коробку 🙄
if there r just stable image so why do u wasting time to model all parts instead of model from rectangle.. its just 30 seconds for box model..
😂
Nah bro, this tuts is for 3D modelers that need to do a mockup from the product packaging dielines :)
