Laying Mudcontrol mats Part 5

I got all the mats down just before the 1st heavy rain of the autumn but had not got the fill & top layers of sand down. The mud bank I'd made to direct water away from the 'yard' area was not long enough to protect it all & a few channels were washed through the sand under the mats unfortunately. I've scraped a shallow channel to help drainage but it really needs the bank extended along the whole uphill side.
