This has been on my list of tools to buy for a while. I liked the new set, with the circuit diagnostic tool, the short circuit finder and all that. I do have a very old version, even made a video that had little interest. It was called the Tracer, and its just an inductive amplifier, so you could hook up a battery (77M) to a circuit, and then using the inductive amplifier (200B) it would beep louder the closer you go to that line. Its great for house stuff too, finding where a wire or telephone line goes, but I use it on the bus, to figure out what cable goes where, especially when theyre no longer the same color wires that the manual says.
@@learndiesel528 I used to have a really nice test light but I lent it out to somebody...and that was the last time I ever saw it. So now I use a multimeter which is a bit inconvenient...

I just like using the power probe when compared to a regular test light for increased functionality.
