Hamas Targets Tel Aviv, Hezbollah Rockets Pound Israel, Two IDF Soldiers Killed On Lebanon Border

- Hamas claimed responsibility for firing rockets at Tel Aviv, coinciding with Israel's commemoration of the first anniversary of the October 7 attacks. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) reported that five rockets were launched from Khan Younis, with impacts in Kfar Chabad and Holon. Alerts were triggered across central Israel, including in Holon, Rishon Lezion, and Bat Yam. The Magen David Adom ambulance service reported two women in their 30s sustained minor injuries in Kfar Chabad. The armed wing of Hamas, the Al-Qassam Brigades, released footage of their bombardment of Tel Aviv, claiming it was part of their "battle of attrition" and a response to "Zionist massacres."
Meanwhile, the IDF called for the evacuation of Palestinian civilians from areas of Khan Younis following further rocket fire. Israeli jets retaliated by destroying rocket launchers in the region. Separately, two Israeli soldiers were killed in a Hezbollah attack on the Lebanon border, with mortars targeting Israeli forces in Maroun al-Ras. Authorities in northern Israel reported damage from Hezbollah's rocket barrage, with impacts in Kfar Vradim, where parked vehicles were set ablaze, and civilian areas hit.
