Big blocks are the way to go for the older trucks. Don't need to spin them to make power, they move the weight like its not there.
I had a 4spd in my truck, An took it out cause if you get on it that 400hp can really throw the truck around an it fucking loud,just sketchy an hard to just cruise around ✌💯🧜♀️😎

Buddy you better get the Benjamin Franklin's lined up and ready to go because I've restored just under 400 of these since 1979 They were at a managable 10K to 15K for a pretty nice rig. These trucks have made about a 30%-60% increase in value. I am sure , just by looking at the quality of his build PLUS his drivetrain he would be in the 50k range if not a bit higher if he is "attached " mentally to the truck !!!! Jim
