The letter about the man in the hospital was such a testimony that you guys are doing something good and like you said you don't do it to be patted on the back but it such helps to hear something like that so you know that your time, effort, hard work and money are not just going to waste..
Godwin i feel your pain. I am 51 and just got my blood work back and my glucose is up and my a1c is above the amount for diabetic. I have been pre-diabetic for a few years and this is the first time is been higher. I go to my Dr.visit this Monday. I am certain he will tell me the same thing you got told. I went ahead and started the keto diet and please know I am praying for you and fighting the same fight. God Bless all of you guys for spreading God's message

Godwin you got this! I had gestational diabetes and was put on a diet and the entire time they where mostly concerned about our girl getting to big and coming early and other things. I kept to a strict diet even went over my due date by four days and she was healthy 6 pounds 13 ounces. And I felt so happy and almost all of our meals where tons of meat 😅 thankfully thats not a no no
Trees.. only so much water on deciduous trees actually grow them up. Their feeder roots go out…so grow outward .. so coverage and oxygen. Needle trees have a tap root. Different and lovely …

You got this Godwin, just stick with the good habits and don't beat yourself up when you fall short. Uncle Si you are not scary looking at all.
Prayers for Godwin! A tip for ground turkey, salt, pepper and garlic powder on one side and fry that side first and flip one time. For chili or anything like that, add all dry ingredients in the pot with the raw turkey and add just a little water, stir it together first.

Poor Godwin!! I've been type two diabetic for years. You can eat most ANYTHING in moderation. Once you get it under reasonable control.
That is what I do. I've been type 2 for seven yrs now. I cheat some but try to watch my carbs. Some things I have cut out or really limit is corn,sugar cereals, bread, pasta and potatoes. Sometimes I just need some french fries and will eat them. Then I try to watch it the next meal.
@@vanmoody I don't eliminate anything particular. I eat what I like and use common sense. My a1c started years ago over 9 but stays around 6 now. Common sense eating but eating whatever I like occasionally. 👍

Godwin, use a low carb round tortilla as crust for pizza. Rao’s pizza sauce is low carb. I crisp the tortilla in the air fryer then add toppings and cook for 8 to 10 mins at 350. Watch it because all air fryers are different. It’s yummy.
NYC is alot of tourist and transports so alot of people from overseas.. alot of people bailed during 19 sd..
John from Indiana needs to realize and be thankful for what he’s got. Most people would kill for that schedule and be able to get that much time off to be with family. It don’t get much better than a 3 day work week besides owning your own business
Godwin, cauliflower pizza crust, you can buy it in stores. It is awesome if you can't have bread like me. Diabetic type 2. And cauliflower mash pototoes is awesome too. It is hard to give up so much but I have found things to trade off with.. Good luck in your searching of some great foods. God Bless you all.
My doctor told me not to worry about the sugar in stuff but you have to watch the Carbs
I have done Keto Forever. I use super crispy bacon as chips for certain dips. May work well with your Crappie dip. Give it a whirl.

John, I control my diabetes with an Atkins diet. My endocrinologist was impressed with my numbers and said she wouldn't be needed if everyone was like me. I told her I followed an Atkins diet. She said just don't tell the diabetic educators. 😉 I agree that Keto would work as well. I give myself a cheat day too. God bless you with great blood sugar levels. Thanks Si. And Godwin, I am gonna shed some weight too, I don't have diabetes but I have MS and am gonna cut down on my sugar,salt and fat intake I am wanting to get on a walking plan. I know how the guy felt about the working and missing out on things with his children but like you said 3 days is not bad I had the same schedule for years and worked it without an concern . BUT after I lost it I was grateful that I was able to be there more for the first time the whole time in my sons life and I wouldn't have thought about that if it hadn't of just happened in life ans the fact that at that time I had another income from a check that I received at the time because without that I would have never even considered trying because I couldn't have

I live in Mesa Arizona too and I saw this video it was stupid. Si isn't scary he's like a cuddle teddy bear. Will Tommy John's cool your giblets when they get hot😂 I have been diabetic for years and I just learned to look at the nutritional portion of The foods I buy like I can only have 3 grams of carbs and sugar so I buy vegan food and I buy organic food and they have an ice cream that is low carb ice cream I think bryers makes it. I am only allowed to eat 2 slices of pizza. Hershey's makes a sugar free chocolate that's pretty good it's called 0 sugar
Use avocado mayo instead of regular mayo. It has the good fat that you want on keto. It tastes like regular mayo too. Watch some videos on intermittent fasting also.

i’m sorry Morgan heartbroken hillbilly that you lost the love of your life. But, I understand that the Lord will close doors on a situation because he hears conversations that you don’t . He knows the hearts of everyone and if he choses to leave you at this time, in that way, there’s a very good reason the Lord shut that door. And actually if you think about it the Lord didn’t just shut that door, He slammed it shut. So, thank God for that decision, pray to God, He knows your path, pray for the guidance to stay on that path.

To be fair, the guy who kidnapped young Elizabeth Smart out of her bedroom and held her captive for months and months had a beard very like Uncle Si's when he was captured and put on trial. I don't even follow that stuff but I remember the photos of him and his wife when they were in the news. All this just goes to show you can't judge a book by its cover...that was part of Dahmer's secret wasn't it? ANYWAY, we love you Uncle Si, you may have never made it beyond sergeant in the army, but you are a MAJOR blessing 💜🌻💜
