I wish I could send you a photo but because of you a jumping spiders life was saved today.. I'm scared of spiders but I've been watching you . For the first time I not only just let it go. I held it for a few seconds it was very pretty too

I have a spider outside my window and she’s making a beautiful web she comes out at night. I named her Charlotte. I can’t tell what type of spider she is or species, but I all I know is that she is beautiful!
I saw a tiny spider just dangling from her silk from the ceiling floating along in front of the TV and I freaked out.. my bf couldn't see it until I pointed it out to him. He made it land on his phone and he took her outside and sat her next to the porch light to eat lol. Hoping she's eating well 😂
My bright orange OBT is named Orange Juice (OJ 😅). My dark OBT is named Grape Juice.

Okay this makes me feel sooo much better. I was soo panicked when rehousing my new baby jumping spider that it was going to run away and I was going to have to chase her with a cup. She didn’t. But the whole time I was like all the rehousing videos I’ve seen they almost never run away, everyone so calm and chill and I was not! I wasn’t scared of being bit. Just didn’t want to lose my baby. I’m just glad to see my panic was warranted lol

OBT- Orange Bolty Thing.
Could put the enclosure in a portable 40-50 gallon bin just in case. I do this with my Sri Lankan ornate tiger. I now have her in a 40 gal bin due to being bitten three times last summer, and she only bolts half a foot never bites me or escapes now.
I had a sweet lizard about his size run up to me at the park. I thought maybe he is thirsty and went to offer water but a jogger scared him off. It’s breathtaking to have wild animals just visit you like long lost friends.
The new room looks fantastic. Love seeing the mischievous beardie in the background. I’ve ordered my Nibbles. (I love that name.) I have them all displayed on my staircase.

While not exactly an arachnophobe, I'm also not much of a spider guy. Like I will never keep a tarantula as a pet. That said, I have been watching your videos over the last year, and have been enjoying learning about the different species there are. I never knew there was an orange tarantula before. Nibbles is a gorgeous tarantula, which is so not a sentence I ever thought I'd say. Congrats on the new house, too! :-)
My obt is broken. She never bolts or whatsoever. Always calm and not willing to move. I have to push her into her new enclosure. But feeding time she's fast and "aggressive "..love my silly orange fluff ❤

I was just thinking how I wished we had a spooky new plushie for Halloween and then this popped up! This will be my third in my collection and I’m loving it and dealing with insect phobia in a cute way! Ok now to actually finish the video….lol😂

I hadn't planned on ordering any plushies, but I had to get my favorite species. My OBT is named Mayuri. I have her in the 12 inch cube, and now I'm sad I didn't use the switch lol. I used a bunch of twisty wood, hoping she'd make a web palace, but she hasn't webbed at all, and just made a deep burrow. While I'm sad I didn't get all the webbing, I'm happy she's comfortable enough that I see her all the time.
How is her temperament? Typical orange bitey thing? I'm jealous of Dave's little beasties' obts as they're extremely chill ..contrary to their species. He really treats his animals well
@@20PINKluvr She's very chill and has never threat posed me. When I rehoused her, she became a rock that I had to shove into the cup lol. The guy I got her from, poked his finger into the container to get her out to show me. That being said, I'd never take any chances, and take precautions every time I open the enclosure to feed or water. I'd also never handle her, because you just never know.

So glad that I found you, love your content, love your animals. I had a Rose Hair Tarantula, loved her. Great pet, but would've never picked for myself. This one was given to my son, & I ended up being it's caregiver. Her name was Buck (orig. owner thought it was a male)but researching how to care for him, & about Tarantulas in general, I learned he was a she. She was Beautiful. I appreciate all of the information your videos contain, & of course your wonderful animals. Look forward to more.

I always rehouse my Ts in the bathtub i block the drain and that way its easier to catch them rather than trying to catch them in a room with endless hiding spots lol
Mee too! Even though I love spiders,when they bolt I scream and get nervous. Mostly because I’m afraid of crushing their legs with the catch cup.
Good idea. They can't climb up the fiberglass or porcelain right?
Haven’t had one crawl up yet but I bet they could. The tub gives you time and they are easy to spot against the white as opposed to a multi colored floor or something

Orange Bratty Thing. Mine is actually pretty calm its still a sking/juvenile but ive never had a threat pose from it at all but i always get threat poses from my c marshallii or my green bottle blue just by touching the lid lol

My mm OBT was Bumblebee and I have 2 females -Creamsicle and Fiesta. I also have 60+ babies...send help 😂😂😂So far I've gotten 60 babies out but the rest are still in with Creamsicle. Hoping I can find time to hunt the rest down this weekend!

I have an OBT named Chucky after the haunted doll, so far its currently the only T I own I'm actually afraid of, not for the attitude but for his(er) skiddishness. Still a juvenile so no famous nasty postures yet, but I only open their enclosure in the bathtub now after a few... similar incidents to this video.

Funny how one tarantulas don't move all day, known to be kind of "stupid" because their brain is too small and can't remember things but as soon as you open the trap door it's the streets for them!
Edit: I don't buy the stupid thing.
