Oh one more thing Misty, I totally felt how you felt, you have so much inventory that if you keep buying stuff you're never going to make a dent in it. Totally understandable. But here's an idea for shopping content and you don't even have to buy anything. Us novis resellers are learning from all of you. I've learned so much I surprise myself sometimes. Like for instance, the different kinds of pottery, how to spot fakes, show examples. Like Jeffrey does, explain the difference between Nippon and Made in Japan. Explain the difference between what makes something art nouveau, Art Deco, and Mid-century. Explain what decades those fall in to. Those are just a few examples. And repeating it over and over is not a bad thing that's how we learn by repetition.
Maybe I'm weird 😉 but I have gone back and watched all of your "ship with me" videos 😂 I am a big fan of behind-the-scenes videos (shipping, bookkeeping practices, listing, organizing your inventory, etc) it inspires me to get going with the same tasks which I need to do but get overwhelmed and paralyzed from it all. Thanks for ALL of your content!! 💕

Just putting in my 2cents. If you are thinking of eliminating something, I would vote for the Goodwill shops.
I get so disappointed when I go there, and so anxious for you to find something to sell. My Goodwills shelves are very bare, and what is there is down right trash. I really enjoy your Riverside shops!! It is such a honey hole and always fun stuff!!! Thanks for taking us to the auction. A good auction is my happy place.

Shop your shelves as if you were at an antique mall. While going through them you could also make a donate pile of things you bought but know you aren’t able to sell or don’t want to. You are hilarious and we all love the commentary.
Hi Misty … I want to let you know that it is not the Goodwill itself that makes the shopping videos fun. For me it’s you imparting your knowledge about the items, who made it, what year/ century, how much it is worth, why it is popular, etc. If you do the same pulling items off your shelves, then it will be just like shopping for me.
You are a font of information and having you pass that on is joyous, so please don’t feel bad about not making shopping videos.

I love watching fellow resellers organise and clean up their spaces. The shopping videos are fun but I probably only watch every 4th one because they aren't really relatable to me, a reseller in Australia.

Some ideas. Sell your stash. Take us to your death pile and tell how you decide whether to sell it or not. I love watching you pick things for your sales. Tell us which things need to go to auction. Opening friend mail. Deep dives would be interesting. I would watch it all.

Do what you want and what you need to do for a while. Shop your shelves, then once every 4-6wks or so do a shopping vid. Prehaps pick up some things at church/thrift/yard sales and record those. We'll watch em. Rearrange the store, have viewer mail, ppl will be interested in that as well. You have a lot of options girl! Loved this one ❤

Idk, I sit around and watch lamp ladies messy horde and enjoy it. I would love to just see you go through and clean up and have extra sales! I think it’s really wise to do eBay and extra sales to clear out inventory. I’m a hobby seller and my biggest items I got at antique stores. I just sold a Dickson Easter planter on Ebay for $150 that I got at an antique mall for $16. It’s about knowledge and knowing what people will enjoy. You are my favorite UA-camr and I will be happy to watch anything you put out!

I am so organized with other people's stuff or at work. I was a Hallmark card merchandiser in a smaller-sized drugstore chain where I worked in 5 stores. That was fun! I would take clothes up to my kid's rooms when they were gone for a day or two and I would spend up to 6-8 hrs deep cleaning and sorting the smallest Legos, and asstd stuff...I would even help clean up my hubby's shop. Loved doing that but to do my own stuff, I just can't get started. I have a garage full of sewing/crafts supplies and almost all of my EBAY mdse and supplies. My bedroom is also a dropping spot before it goes out to the garage. The only thing I can think of to help is another person that 'gets' my stuff and can gather like stuff and store, but not someone who wants to reduce or reorganize my stuff. Maybe a good reseller can help organize and understand your stuff. When my hubby was alive, I was sort of restricted going to thrift stores unless I was without him. So my free days would be all day outings. On vacations, he would take me to thrift stores and he would always find something to buy! My son and daughter have been raised with thrift stores and clearance racks. She still shops those first at 33 and buys the few things she can't find at WM. I now have my hubby's stuff to go through, probate in another state, still other paperwork since Nov. and now taxes! More papers everywhere in my room. I feel your stress about shopping and storing. We have had a massive snow dumping which kept us snowed in for days at a time. We still have glaciers where my fire damage workers are supposed to be. Had a fire over a year ago in our fairly new timber-framed patio cover...

And Maybelle and Mr. Fluffer Pants are always terrific. Mr. Fluffer reminds me of my kitty who had the exact same markings.

I think the buying freeze is part of you being a reseller & we can learn some tips on what point we have become a hoarder lol Chaos & too many items does take up a lot of mind space for most of us & we can all help each other with tips on dealing with the items that have sat around too long.
