Thank you Eric for the amazing work you do and the initiatives you take to build bridges between cultures, and to expose the zellij art to foreign lands. I attended one of your lectures at MIT once upon a time, got your autograph on your book I had purchased in the past, and love having your books on my shelf as my first choice reference for inspiration. The cultures of zellij should be proud of you and should be honoring and celebrating you. Thank you Eric.

Dear Eric, thanks for wonderful video on Taj Mahals octogonal grid layout. The comments are 'turned off' in that video.

    This is awesome! Amazing job!
I am not sure, but I think if the colors were fewer, it may have been better - it may not be as eye catching, however.
    Thanks for explaining the workflow

    UITSTEKEND !
    EXCELLENT !
"Islamic Art" or "Islamic Design" or "Islamic Architecture" etc, don't exist !
These are "wordings" commonly used in the Occidental Countries to designate "Something" in the Islamic world, which is historically, culturally, scientifically totally FALSE !
For example, Indonesia and Morocco are very ancient countries, they are both Muslim Countries, they have both authentic culture but there stops the common ground ! Where is the Islamic Art for this two countries ? There isn't as such !
Its rather more correct to talk about Moroccan Art and Culture !
Its rather more correct to talk about Indonesian Art and Culture !
Even in the Holly Coran there is no trace of a so called Islamic Achitecture or Art !
Another example, Italy and the Netherlands (your country of origin) are both known as "European" countries, question : is there an European Culture or Art or Architecture for these Countries ?
    Of course NOT !
And we are fortunate enough to have such a diversities, such a richness to ENJOY !!
Tkx for the work you're doing !
    EN SUCCES !😊
