- DIY big and elegant macramé handbag. The bag is very practical and roomy. It's perfect for beach stuff.
The finished bag is 35cm x 60cm (macrame part) or 45cm x 60cm (with bag handles)

I give measurements so that you can make a fringed bag. For a handbag without fringe, the cords length can be taken shorter. Or you can also continue the pattern and make the bag more spacious.

Having a hard time finding 4mm braided cord, can a 5mm be used as well? What other size would you suggest?
To start the bag, do you use the longer lengths first and when do you go down to the shorter ones please? I have bought and cut my cords just don’t know what to start with! I love this design, thank you 😊

Hi, thank you! Good question, unfortunately about spray I don't know. but it can be washed by hand. It’s important that cords/rope must be of high quality, otherwise the whites may turn yellow from the water. Good luck!

About how much cord should be taken off if you don't want fringe?
Hi. The fringe on my bag is about 20 cm long, that is, all lengths can be taken 30-40 cm shorter. do not take too shorter, for ease of tying knots
