WOW. Thank you! I finally used the right search terms to find your video. Backed out the screws 3 turns, and it works (for now). This is a design flaw that Samsung should address!

I have a Whirlpool with a similar issue - I added 2 small washers between latch part and fridge - now it works properly. Hope it doesn't let cool air out and raise my bill.

Thats a cool fix, hope it doesn't create an air gap but should be pretty easy to know if thats happening or not.

My guess would be (without seeing it) the hole is stripped.

My issue is that top part of the Mullion French door hinge, is broken off. Do I have to buy the entire Mullion door flapper, or can I just buy that part at the top of the flapper?
