I never would have even looked at this one! It's really lovely and one both myself (dry/mature skin) and my daughter (normal/oily skin) can use. Yup, a definite thumbs up from me, 👍👍👍👍👍 Oh how I'd love to have some oils in my skin. Unfortunately, I just don't. So it will be interesting to see how this one wears on me compared to my daughter and yourself, 😊 Very happy that you reviewed this foundation, thank you so much, 💞🌸💞🌸💞🌸💞
I love your little smile at the end of all your natural light close ups!!! You look like you’re trying so hard not to laugh!...which makes me start laughing. And we all need to laugh more so thank you. 😂❤️😂
All I'm going to say is be careful with the online shade range swatches. Its misleading as all get out. I wound up with a warm shade 2 or 3 shades too dark. 😭 I'm normally really really good at picking my exact shade of foundation online. UPDATE: I contacted morphe and told them what had happened. They asked if I could send them a pic of the shade swatch on the side of my face and asked me to include the name of the shade I actually needed. I did. They contacted me and told me they were sending me out the new shade free of charge immediately and that they wanted me to be completely satisfied. Excellent customer service. A++ And all this took place within 24 hours of me sending my initial email.
I’m in my late 20’s I recently started to use this. I think it applies best if you apply drops directly, do a little hand blending ( I know crazy) them blend with sponge after
The finish actually looks really nice, very natural looking on camera. If I was a teen I would have loved something like this, I wasn’t allowed to wear make up in high school but this definitely doesn’t look like what we used to try wearing 😅
I am 26 and I actually prefer this light coverage over a full coverage and as a mom two toddlers under two i need quick and easy. I love it! Thanks for the video it helped me decide to get this or the newest one they’ve made.
I like boots no 7 tinted foundation Its sheer and covers well without settling in the lines. I top up with concealer around the eyes. Less is more for the over 50s.
I love how your skin looks in this. It had inspired me to try it. I'd love yo see you review Bliss skincare products at some point. I have fallen in love with their masks and their new toner/serum which J think is a great product and want your opinion!
I prefer the lighter, less heavy coverage foundations. It's easy to gravitate towards them though to try and cover everything on the face. But I've discovered that all I need is one that evens out my skin tone and disguise any redness on my nose and chin.Lighter foundations are also much more comfortable to wear. :) I really like the satiny finish it gave your skin! It looks like it wore very well too, no redness wearing through. :) I never heard of this foundation, I'll have to check it out!
I’ve never worn foundation so I’m looking for one that looks and feels like skin, very light. I don’t need much coverage. Can you please suggest something for me, I have pale skin. I’d appreciate all help since I don’t know what I’m doing. Thank you!
@@rhonda6791 Maybe a BB cream or tinted moisturizer? They are both very light coverage and feel. There are many brands and formulas to suit every skin type, ie: dry, oily, combo, etc... During the hot summer I sometimes wear my tinted SPF instead of foundation.
Loved this review! If it was a little less shiny/dewy... dang. I agree about glycerin! It's just so old school that people think it can't be that good (isn't it similar to hyaluronic acid?). xx from Oregon 🇺🇸
Thank you for a good review as always😊 I just wonder if you have tried to apply this foundation with your fingers? Sometimes with thin foundations that seams to be better then with a brush or sponge. Like everything with makeup it’s personal preferenses what way to apply the product😊
You should try the veil sunset foundation from beauty and the boutique, I'm 38 and honestly I think that will be so good for alot of older people's skin, I have been having trouble finding one , nars was horrible sank into my pores , ordinary was horrible ,sank into pores and stuck to dry patches, nyx born to glow good but shade range is pants , becca was so dry and thick, smashbox 24hr ,again not good if you have dry patches, the list goes on . I've wasted so much money on foundations. It's a shame you dont have a place we can post all our un wanted foundations to , for you to do reviews on as they are just sat in the draw haha. I bet loads people are the same , so dont o if that's something to consider. People sending stuff. But yes this veil sunset one I'm finding really good its smooth ,hydrating, vegan. Ect . Xx
You can resale on glambot and Mercari, I've heard, but aren't sure of anywhere else, and it may be different now since covid, but definitely check into it, those are some expensive foundations you mentioned and if you can resale you can get at least a little bit of your money back. Also thanks for the recommendation of foundation
Your daughter has beautiful skin with gorgeous freckles this type of product will allow her skin to come through. All the amazing products both your kids are going to have access to IF THEY CHOOSE TO USE is something others would be a tad envious of.
Wanted to say I’ve tried the Missha BB cream. I live in the US so perhaps the ingredients are different due to our FDA administration in regards to chemical formulations. Whatever the reason it was awful. I couldn’t believe it since you gave it a hearty thumbs up recently so I ordered again from a different store. Anyone want two free tubes? It was heavy, thick, itches, and looks like a plastic film over the skin. I felt smothered. Since I wasn’t going out those two days, I kept it on the whole day. Drove me nuts. Dried out my skin and not natural looking. Yes, I selected correct color and applied with a sponge and pressed in powder afterwards, which the label said to do. Absolutely the worst thing I’ve ever had on my face. So I’m putting this out there because I’d be interested in knowing if anyone else disliked it.
I cannot believe you are over 30... your skin is beautiful and so firm, pure complexion with and without makeup. We clearly need more videos on your skincare routine and perhaps one on what you eat/drink. Beautiful skin starts from within!
@@rhonda6791 I said I don't buy from Morphe. I refuse to support a company who secretly reformulates products after they have been hyped up by influencers. If you don't know what I am talking about, look up what happened to Jaclyn hill palette. Also... I prefer to invest in higher quality brands.
True Baronesse I’m very new to all make up but blush so this is all a new world to me. I wanted to know if they were unethical in any way. Thank you for letting me know.
Zena Braithwaite I too wondered why & checked it out on Google. There appears to be controversy surrounding their inclusiveness of POC and not being cruelty free.
I just got this in the lightest shade, and it's the only skin tint I have found that matches my skin. Finally! And so far, I love it!!

Wow! Your skin looks so good! I thought it looked better before you added the foundation
I like boots no 7 tinted foundation
Its sheer and covers well without settling in the lines. I top up with concealer around the eyes. Less is more for the over 50s.
If I have a glass bottle foundation, when it gets to the end, I usually dip a small slim brush into it or cotton bud to get the last bits out.

I’ll definitely look into that. Thanks very much for writing me back.

I’m always on a quest for the sheerest makeups. Currently chantecaille in porcelain so I’m going to pop out and pick this up in your shade. ❤️
I actually liked it before you went In with the brush when it got dewy .. looks like a very youthful appearance . Thanks I’m going to try it.
I bought this for my teenager after she asked me for it. She loves it. I might have to try it myself.
Thank you Gemma! Love your videos. Where can I buy in Canada? 🇨🇦
Morphe.ca! Sometimes your Sephora store might have it too. Free shipping for orders over $60. Some of their eye palettes are super nice.
I normally wear Laura Mercier's tinted moisturizer as my foundation. Based on your review, I might give Morphe a try.

Thank you Gemma! Love your eyes. What eye shadow did you use?
Looks great on you Gem, just a bit worried it would be a bit drying for me!
My daughter is nearly 14 and not a massive make up wearer but at the price I think this would be a nice treat for (whisper it) Christmas!
Looks lovely! Have you tried the pixie one? They call it beauty balm xxx
Gemma . would you say this is on par with the YSL all day glow (think thats what its called )
Hey Gemma what are you wearing on your lips? I couldn't find it listed above.

Will it cover freckles or give a natural look with freckles showing? I do find it difficult in the summer picking foundation due to my freckles
Your skin looks gorgeous.
I wish you would have done finger application for this because that’s what they show on their website
It just looks like your skin which appears flawless on my screen. 9/13❤️

Why Dawn? I'm 67 & have tried SO many base products but these light coverage tints are so flattering to an older skin. Do have a go. 👍🏻
Suprised that you like this and not the Chanel fresh water tint. I would personally not support Morphe as a brand.
