it is not easy to understand, if you do not a microscope to see these components then no sense to even follow, it looks like he is removing a capacitor in order to get to the a lower level of the multi layer circuits, in other pictures it shows you to connect a certain pin from cpu/gpu to the lcd connector to that spot that he has cleaned up of a lower level circuit which is not accessible unless you scrape or take off the layer that the capacitor is on. I would not even attempt doing this, this guy must have connections within the engineering of this specific phone circuit boar
