Great video! I don’t want and never have purchased a Kayali dupe fragrance. Fortunately Kayali has always been in my budget. But there are certain niche fragrances or designer fragrances that are either more affordable or are better than the original or both! And then there are niche fragrances I’ve had on my wishlist for over a year that I’m just saving up for and don’t want any dupes of because I’ve smelled them and feel like a dupe won’t dupe it justice. 😆

In the meantime, I'm thankful for you reviewers who are able to give us your takes on the dupes. My nose is my nose and always up to me. I'm thankful for sites that give us samples, so we can try them before we buy.
I read that there is a note in Princess that is extremely hard to duplicate. I’ve worn Princess since it launched (old ball bottle) and I’ve tried every dupe I can, while I can enjoy the scent profile, there is a noticeable difference to my nose and wear time.
I agree with you on Angels’ Share. I have to have it! Even though I love Kismet Magic/Angel! I will always have that dupe as well. I like the chocolate note. I need both! lol. Princess is still my favorite perfume, so it’s not going anywhere! ❤💗 La Belle is a must! But La Belle is affordable. So I don’t mind repurchasing. I recently caved and bought a bottle of Akro Bake, because people keep saying that the dupes are not getting the cakey dry down right. Like they duped the opening, but not the dry down, and I need the exact lemon head candy opening and the lemon cake dry down. But I would’ve bought a dupe if there was a good one out there. But I’m okay with dupes like Eclaire and my Dapper dupe of Bianco Latte, because I like them both better than the original. I’m also okay with my Barakkat Gentle Gold over Gentle Fluidity Gold. I do like Mon Guerlain & Mon Guerlain Intense, but when I wear it I feel like I’m wearing Guess Seductive Noir. That’s what I think of, so it’s like I might as well just have this $15 perfume instead. Lol And I hope you do try out Liam and do a side by side comparison. I’m curious to know.
It's a mixed bag for me. I have the original, dupes, and both. It just depends on how I feel, how much I am willing to spend, and is the dupe better than the original. With that said, I will always buy the original Nishane HSW, Valentino DPIR, anything from BDK, Prada Paradoxe and a couple from the Prada Candy line, and YSL Libre Intense. Everything else, I will buy the dupe after I try the original.

A couple of things: 1) When I started my fragrance journey, I couldn’t afford some designer or niche perfumes and didn’t care about fragrance enough to pay more than $50. So, the allure of the middle eastern dupes was high. I was blind buying from Amazon and started out with Choco-Musk. That was my gateway. 2) I have no qualms about dupes, but like you, sometimes I want the real thing. I almost never pay full price. However Kayali Vanilla 28 was a game changer for me. Kayali just WORKS on my body chemistry. I’ll always have Vanilla 28 and Silk Santal because they smell amazing on my skin. I have converted to the Khair Confection because it smells so good on me as well and I am beyond content with it. I don’t want or need VCRS.
Most of the time I buy the OG then the dupe! Even though the dupes are just as good or better (if you choose carefully)! Only a few occasions the OG isn't worth it.

I have to agree with you. Fragrant body oilz “Princess” is spot on and the projection is crazy! That’s the one perfume I always get compliments on whenever I wear it.

I love a hood dupe, especially if the price range to crazy like 300. I got lataffa éclair that's suppose to Banco latte and it smells so amazing that I don't even want to wait to buy the original.
Great video. Julianna's perfumes has a dupe for Kilian's Princess that I hear is spot on but it's sold out a lot. That's understandable, you want what you want, I feel the same way about some fragrances.

My Mon guerlain will be finished in a couple days but I have a small bottle of the intense waiting to be brought out. I’m so excited to change it up with the intense but have that dna still.
I got the "Fragrant Body Oilz Ce Noir" dupe, and now I want the original, but the price is not right for the size. I agree with "The Wedding Silk Santal" it will stay in my collection regardless of any dupes. I recently purchased "Felicity Khair," which is a dupe, but I have not received it yet. If I can find a good dupe, then I can savor the silk santal longer. You can run through the 50 ml so fast. I want the original "Gentle Fluidity Gold." I getting that for my birthday.
Flowebomb Nectar is one of my faves. I agree, there are certain perfumes I do not want a dupe for. I have maybe 3 dupes in my collection for perfumes I could not easily or affordable get a travel size of to test it out. The rest of my collection I've managed to catch on sale or through discount sites.

This video makes perfect sense to me. I love a dupe, but they don’t always get it right all the time and sometimes I want both. VDBIR intense I will always purchase the original. To be honest I haven’t even tried a dupe and I’m not even interested. That baby is in my top 5 favorites. Prada, original always. Tihota I like Dua version and I like the original. I tried Dua version of Blanche Bete and it didn’t satisfy me. I was going to stalk these discount sites until someone gave me a good deal. Finally Black Friday fragrance net had it for $170 100 ml. They was probably like dang here, $170 now get off our website everyday😂. I will always purchase the original. Enjoyed this video!

Vanilla. Powder. I don't know if it speaks to the warmest corner of my frigid little heart, but ONLY the original will do. And, I have a backup so I don't run out and have to act up. They're big boys, too. Others: Prada Paradox EDP, Sí Passione, Amouage Guidance 46 and Gris Charnel --- I won't skimp on those.
I want the OG of everything now . I have oud satin mood both ex and edp , and I had the dupes at one point . They just don’t have the same magic and density as the real thing . The dupes seem to be thinner or slightly different in scent profile ,and performance.
Where I live it’s hard to smell fragrances in the store and I don’t know where to find all of the samples like Bond No. 9. My Saks sell Bond but they haven’t gotten any testers in over a years. So..if there is a dupe, I’d buy it to get an idea of the fragrance before I purchase them. BTW; do anyone know where to buy samples of Bond? I even emailed them with no reply. I really want to smell the new ones 😒
That makes sense. I do that with perfume oils too. I'm not sure about samples. Someone told me about a website called "decantalize" and they might have some but i've never ordered anything from them. Also scentsplit or luckyscent might have some decants for purchase.

I still want the OG for certain fragrances too. I have decants and Genre Parfums version for Escapade Gourmande, Narco Oasis and Happy Dust to hold me over until I can get the full bottle of the OG. It’s how I feel about Happy Dust, Bianco Latte, Symphony and Princess. Having owned the OG, I can enjoy the variation scent profile, but the OG hits right.

If its niche of tom ford prices y will get the dupe cuz i dont have it like that, im opting for decants this year. But i will get my angels share and love dont be shy eventually. For designers i go for gray market pricing and i can afford it for the most part.
I usually only get dupes if it's cheaper to test the fragrance that way (Dossier and Oil Perfumery are my go to) or if the original is either discontinued, outrageously overpriced, or impossible to get. Tom Ford and Roja Dove fragrances for example. I absolutely adore Dossier's Powdery Coconut which is a dupe for Tom Ford Soleil Blanc. Do I still want to buy the original bottle and have that too? Yes, absolutely! I'll overspray that dupe without a care and baby the original.
On the whole, I am not trying to chase down dupes, or ME fragrances in general. I do have a few though, Liam being one. Honestly I haven’t figured out exactly how to make sense of it yet!
Another 13 for me…it’s the best of all the perfume worlds, sweet, fresh, beast mode, long lasting, and compliment getter! I’m wearing it today in 20 degree weather and still smelled myself outside with a coat on..for life fragrance!
I agree with Angel Share. Maybe it’s the bottles that kinda make us feel that way sometimes. I will say that I feel like Oakcha’s Angel Share is good and I probably will use that one up before buying more actual Angel Share once my original one is gone.
I’ve been feeling like this for a while now. I’m really not interested in the dupes bc I can always tell, and they’re USUALLY missing something. Like why buy 4 dupes of La Rosee when you can just get the real thing from a discounter for the same price. Maybe it’s just me being tired of overconsumption and I’m leaning towards a more curated collection.
I feel the same about angels share. I decluttered my dupes and the dupes were really good. I’ll also always have Bianco Latte. I love the dupes but there is just something about her that I have to have. Oh and Tribeca by Bond 9. The BSB oil is spot on and lasts longer but I’ll always have both in my collection and I don’t even like the look of the bond 9 bottles lol
Some of these dupes only have participation points, and strange return policies. OG Burberry Her & Burberry Her London Dream are to perfect to be replicated

As long as the OG perfume last long. Sometimes those higher end perfumes dont have the performance. So i'm taking my time to make sure with those higher ones!!

I have a mix of OG and dupes but most of the time if it’s not too expensive I’ll get the OG. Sometimes if I don’t care enough I’ll get a dupe. But the middle eastern dupes I have to wait until it’s verified dupe not jump on the wagon once it drops.
For me I just don't bother with dupes they don't hit as much as the real thing for me. And have com across a dupe that I prefer over the original. I stopped buying dupes when I realised soon after getting them I'll buy the original anyways.
I will never buy a dupe for my all time favorite perfume. For example, I will not buy dupes for Matiere Premiere perfumes, nor Frederic Malle creations. Jamais.

Period. No dupe compares. I agree with Delina as well. She can’t be duplicated.

Flowebomb Nectar is one of my faves. I agree, there are certain perfumes I do not want a dupe for. I have maybe 3 dupes in my collection for perfumes I could not easily or affordable get a travel size of to test it out. The rest of my collection I've managed to catch on sale or through discount sites.

This video makes perfect sense to me. I love a dupe, but they don’t always get it right all the time and sometimes I want both. VDBIR intense I will always purchase the original. To be honest I haven’t even tried a dupe and I’m not even interested. That baby is in my top 5 favorites. Prada, original always. Tihota I like Dua version and I like the original. I tried Dua version of Blanche Bete and it didn’t satisfy me. I was going to stalk these discount sites until someone gave me a good deal. Finally Black Friday fragrance net had it for $170 100 ml. They was probably like dang here, $170 now get off our website everyday😂. I will always purchase the original. Enjoyed this video!

They're big boys, too. Others: Prada Paradox EDP, Sí Passione, Amouage Guidance 46 and Gris Charnel --- I won't skimp on those.
I want the OG of everything now . I have oud satin mood both ex and edp , and I had the dupes at one point . They just don’t have the same magic and density as the real thing . The dupes seem to be thinner or slightly different in scent profile ,and performance.

Where I live it’s hard to smell fragrances in the store and I don’t know where to find all of the samples like Bond No. 9. My Saks sell Bond but they haven’t gotten any testers in over a years. So..if there is a dupe, I’d buy it to get an idea of the fragrance before I purchase them. BTW; do anyone know where to buy samples of Bond? I even emailed them with no reply. I really want to smell the new ones 😒
That makes sense. I do that with perfume oils too. I'm not sure about samples. Someone told me about a website called "decantalize" and they might have some but i've never ordered anything from them. Also scentsplit or luckyscent might have some decants for purchase.

I still want the OG for certain fragrances too. I have decants and Genre Parfums version for Escapade Gourmande, Narco Oasis and Happy Dust to hold me over until I can get the full bottle of the OG. If its niche of tom ford prices y will get the dupe cuz i dont have it like that, im opting for decants this year. But i will get my angels share and love dont be shy eventually. For designers i go for gray market pricing and i can afford it for the most part.

I usually only get dupes if it's cheaper to test the fragrance that way (Dossier and Oil Perfumery are my go to) or if the original is either discontinued, outrageously overpriced, or impossible to get. Tom Ford and Roja Dove fragrances for example. I absolutely adore Dossier's Powdery Coconut which is a dupe for Tom Ford Soleil Blanc. Do I still want to buy the original bottle and have that too? Yes, absolutely! I'll overspray that dupe without a care and baby the original.

On the whole, I am not trying to chase down dupes, or ME fragrances in general. I do have a few though, Liam being one. Honestly I haven’t figured out exactly how to make sense of it yet!
Another 13 for me…it’s the best of all the perfume worlds, sweet, fresh, beast mode, long lasting, and compliment getter! I’m wearing it today in 20 degree weather and still smelled myself outside with a coat on..for life fragrance!

I agree with Angel Share. Maybe it’s the bottles that kinda make us feel that way sometimes. I will say that I feel like Oakcha’s Angel Share is good and I probably will use that one up before buying more actual Angel Share once my original one is gone.

I love the dupes but there is just something about her that I have to have. Oh and Tribeca by Bond 9. The BSB oil is spot on and lasts longer but I’ll always have both in my collection and I don’t even like the look of the bond 9 bottles lol

I have a mix of OG and dupes but most of the time if it’s not too expensive I’ll get the OG. Sometimes if I don’t care enough I’ll get a dupe. But the middle eastern dupes I have to wait until it’s verified dupe not jump on the wagon once it drops.
