In fact they matter so little they dont even exist to those people because that's how irrelevant and inconsequential the characters were to the actual plot of the show. So by that measure, yes they don't deserve to be in a game compared to any other character that might've actually had screen time and are atleast somewhat familiar to even casual fans of DB. Its at the least not worth the resources for Namco. Now as far as the characters having been present previously, I agree they should be in the game. But its clear that Bandai planned this in order to sell DLC because they know the horny ass Fasha fans will pay for it regardless. I still think all previous BT characters should be present on release but thats not gonna happen. Namco knows what they're doing with the DLC, they've had XV1 and 2, and Kakarot as an indicator of what DLCs sell and which don't. But its clear thats not what Perfection was even complaining about. I don’t understand why this fandom feels the need to throw characters under the bus just because they aren’t canon or unimportant. These games were known for their massive character roster, yes some of them were unnecessary like Appule, Pilaf, Devilman, random Freeza soldier and Babidi but Bardocks soldiers were necessary, they were his top soldiers who together destroyed and conquered planets, even Zarbon was impressed by how strong they were. Just because we didn’t see them fight doesn’t mean they aren’t worth being in the game.

In fact they matter so little they dont even exist to those people because that's how irrelevant and inconsequential the characters were to the actual plot of the show. So by that measure, yes they don't deserve to be in a game compared to any other character that might've actually had screen time and are atleast somewhat familiar to even casual fans of DB. Its at the least not worth the resources for Namco.
Now as far as the characters having been present previously, I agree they should be in the game. But its clear that Bandai planned this in order to sell DLC because they know the horny ass Fasha fans will pay for it regardless. I still think all previous BT characters should be present on release but thats not gonna happen.
Namco knows what they're doing with the DLC, they've had XV1 and 2, and Kakarot as an indicator of what DLCs sell and which don't.
But its clear thats not what Perfection was even complaining about. All his complaints boils down to "I dont like it, its stupid" even when there can be a debate over the roster due to potential DLC and Namco being greedy.
