Di3.602 starts up at the Norwegian Railway Museum at Hamar. Sept 5, 2010 This unit was built in 1954 by NOHAB of Sweden. It's powered by a EMD 16-567C diesel engine.
The unit was restored to "NOHAB Demonstration livery" in 2004 ! The main difference between the locomotive's current design and the original design is the nose logo, originally it had a "NOHAB-GM" nose logo instead of the NSB logo.
EMD 16 (GE G16 whatever xD) i sooo epic! For me there is no better sounding diesel engine. so powerfull and angry, little bit of scary but still is the best
I think these locomotive must not be stored at the museums, instead the must be gifted to the counties that can not afford to bay trains, an example is an NSB Di3 locomotive was gifted from NSB, Norwegian Railways in Norway, and the carriages from SJ in Sweden to Kosovo Railways and it is very functional today and it holds a line between to larges city's in Kosovo 2 times a day Pejë-Prishtina

Yep, it's based on the US F7- model. The main difference is twin cabs and three axle trucks.
Den sliter med motortrøbbel om dagen desverre. Loket var sist ute på tur vinteren 2012.

Maskinen er desverre hensatt med motortrøbbel. Den var på prøvetur vinteren 2012 og har siden stått hensatt i lokstallen på Hamar.
I hva slags stand står den i nå?
