One of the unique hand traps that I've been running at 3 lately is Shining Star dragon, a lvl 4 tuner dragon monster. I can just activate it at my oponents turn to summon it with Scarred from gy to pop the whole board, then go to Cent Auxila for back row protection so I can protect Crimson Gaia and Red Zone for the next turn, its a pretty cool anti nibiru card too incase your whole board gets wiped since you can revenge wipe with Shining star + Scarred. Can also be used to go summon Crimson dragon to go to Super Nova, Calamity, or any of the lvl 12 Stardust Dragons during oponents turn as long as you have another lvl 12 in the field like Auxila.
Holy trinity fucn off handtraps and the rest. But seems to work best. Little sad that it works better than other Combos with 1-2 Card Cluster engines or Archetypes like Bystial Centurion. Pls make list of normal traps to build in combo with lotus.
If they would drop a new one already! I think the last one we got was Fire Kings near the end of 2023? Unless you mean 3 RDA structure decks, in which case you can build a deck out of it, but it definitely wouldn't do exceedingly well unfortunately in the current meta game 😞
Congrats for the result but this is an example of bad deck building without really any reason. You're playing 3 copies of a non-important card like Stone Sweeper and 2 copies of our most important card which is Bone Archfiend, which is just against basic common sense lol Just play 41 cards and play the 3rd Bone Archfiend, there's no way in the world that isn't better than 40 cards with 3 Stone Sweepers and 3 Red Lotus King. Bone Archfiend is also far superior to Red Lotus King so at least you'd want to play more copies of Bone Archfiend than our new shiny tool that sadly doesn't fix what we're bad already bad at. :(
I get what you mean, but unfortunately disagree. I do think 3 Bone is absolutely fine, but having 3 Lotus king is insane. Easy access to Red reign is the corner stone of every combo now. Soul resonator searching Lotus is Hot Red setting Red Reign is a 1 card combo that's a negate and banish of opponents board and protection from anything except a kaiju from your opponent. Bone is absolutely still a good card and I probably wouldn't go lower than 2, but I don't think 3 is a necessity for this deck anymore more it's new tools and the amount of hand traps it gets to play
@@MrBagelBites That board is surely not bad but it doesn't take much to go over it. Even a Ghost Ogre forces the whole board because you can chain it to the Abyss and you're forced to activate Red Reign in that spot, and boom you're disarmed for the rest of the turn with the opponent having other 4 cards to play with. Forcing the Abyss isn't hard in general since it's going to be the only endboard monster, and Red Reign by itself doesn't stop any of the top decks right now. By doing that endboard and that's it you're betting on something that doesn't necessarily hold up and in the meanwhile, you're generating no follow-up for the next turn unless the opponent just watches you play without interacting at all. Mind that all of this is true for the going first but it's expecially noticeable when going 2nd since you're going to face all the handtraps of going first (expecially Nib since the Abyss + Red Reign combo is helpless against it) AND the opponent's board. Bone Archfiend is just the superior card among the two, you just need to read their effects: Bone Archfiend is an extender that sets up other extenders that make your board stronger and more resilient against interruptions, + it gives follow-up. Not to mention that Bone Archfiend on its own is already a 1.5 card combo (Special Bone, dump Vision, search Gaia, search Soul, Normal Soul and go from there). If you really want to lean into Red Lotus King combos, Bone Archfiend is also a 1.5 card Abyss+Red Reign combo: in the steps I described above, you NS Soul add Red Lotus King and SS it, go for the Red Rising and revive Soul for Abyss + Red Reign setup. You also can put Bone Archfiend in the GY by going for the 2nd Red Rising instead. In fact, this is already an objectively better combo than starting with Soul Resonator if you don't mind the discard because it also puts guaranteed follow-up in the GY in the form of Bone Archfiend AND it gives you access to Crimson Gaia. So yeah the 3rd Bone is already better than the 3rd Stone Sweeper for example. You can increase the Bone Archfiend copies in your deck also by running cards like Foolish Burial and Void Apocalypse as well.
Raising the consistency and keeping card advantage with a 1 card combo sounds like the winning deckbuilding strategy of literally everyone right now. You can also just search your Bone Archfiend too when you particularly want it.
I'm still personally coming down off of "Non important card like Stone Sweeper". Card can literally just get you to your bone archfiend for free if you need it by searching soul. Also the Brew is 42 not 40 so we'd be going to 43 to add 3rd Bone when I personally think Red lotus is the better card to Max out on 3 of rn. And also I'm saying that you can get to that board off 1 card, you still have 4 other cards in hand to extend and keep playing, you don't with Bone unfortunately and it doesn't get you Red Reign.
Let's be clear too, I even said in vid and my comment that you can go to 3 Bone by playing with ratios. I just don't think it's necessary to do 3 on him rn and he can be trimmed to 2

When i played Magnumut I was teching him, but after cutting the Bystials he didn't quite make the cut for me. But he's cool for sure

@@MrBagelBites I do remember people, including TheCaliEffect say that it might be better to not use the burn effect altogether in case of Ghost Ogre.
