- Boy was this a blast to make! I got a buddy of mine to help out, who is also a GTA V Police RP player, so it's about as realistic as it gets here. There were a lot of intense and epic moments during these pursuits. AI cops even did a good job working with us. Rolling blocks (10-75) were preformed quite frequently. One clip had an AI preform a PIT maneuver (10-39) three times.
Box maneuvers (10-65) were attempted, but most of them didn't have enough units to really perform it very well.
I do plan on making another Heat Level 10 video next, and trying to see if I can do it with my friend playing as a cop, chasing me with all the other AI cops. There is a little chance the game will crash, because when you play online with other people, it can get a little unstable when someone is at Heat Level 10.
There's also different music once again. The first track is "Whiplash" from Burnout 1. There's two from NFS Carbon Canyon Runs, a NFS The Run track, and a track called "Metalhead Nest" from a PS2 classic known as Jak 3.
That about wraps things up, and if anyone reads the description, I want to ask if you guys want to see Cross appear in these pursuits? I know there aren't any police Corvettes in the game, but I think it would add a bit more variety, and make things much more intense with him around.

I liked the fact that you guys used lower-end cars and worked together like actual police officers in this video, everyone that I’ve seen on UA-cam and played against in public lobbies treats this game like COD or Battlefield simulator which is what I guess the devs wanted but it is kinda silly.
That's how I like to play. I get aggressive when the racer gets aggressive.
Silly indeed. F-8's story centers a lot about RCPD's excessive force.
To be fair, the only "plausible" way to completely shut down a Hot Pursuit is to wreck everyone. Stopping increases the chances of other racers reaching the finish line.

I just wish AAA developers could make a more realistic police vs criminals game. Rivals has the idea, but it relies too much on being too much like a battle racer and there's no fear of how you drive or take out the racers because no one gets seriously hurt during gameplay.
To be fair, Need for Speed is first and foremost a vehicular racing game. Looking at the pages of history, you have a point. Rockport, Palmont, Tri-city, and Fairview PD is very bold sending officers on a suicide mission (Rhino head-on).

Ah, this is where it started for me. Watching this video made me understand this playstyle. I had always wanted more engaging pursuits and already started being more lenient to ai racers but this was taking it to another level. Plus this was where my appreciation for the Charger started, now I'm obsessed with this model, can't wait to drive it in Unbound Volume 8
Damn, that rolling roadblock really reminds me a lot of the rockport police tactics in most wanted, i figured it's gonna be fun as hell boxing in racers with real cop players lol
That's if there are any people willing to do that. As far as I'm aware, most players act like Hell Cops, and racers tent to be assholes by trying to wreck the player cops all the time. This is one reason why I don't like playing online.

@@thehunt8r I've actually seen you before. You popped up in my recommendations a few times and your bust compilation that you made a while back was what I first watched, then I saw the Heat Level 11 video which was pretty cool. It's good to see someone else other than me and my friend playing like an actual cop.
Free Roam pursuits are my jam though. The AI cops don't spam equipment and actually try using real tactics to stop racers, which is why I love them, and have wanted people to act more like them in Online matches.

Would you folks like to see Cross appear in these pursuits? I'm aware that there are no Corvettes he can be in, but I think it would be a cool addition to the Rivals videos.

Honestly they missed out on putting the corvette that they had on the racer side as a police car also, idk if they ran out of time or what. Also I would love cross to join in but idk how that would be possible.
I'll just edit his voice lines in like I do with the rest of the cops. He will only appear in the Federal Units (Bugatti, Agera R, and Hennessy). Since in MW he appeared only in the Federal heat levels (5 and 6).
It is also shown in MW that he does drive the normal Corvettes instead of his own, but usually only when his 'Vette is disabled. So, him being in those three cars I mentioned will work.
There's no police C7 or any other Corvette, so idk
There doesn't have to be a Corvette, he'll just be in the cars I designate as Federal Units, so the Bugatti, Agera R, and Hennessy.
You're lucky got a friend who has the wifi connection and patience to do these kind of things. 👍 If I tried this with anyone that I know from the Xbox community, they couldn't do it. Heck, even though my pursuit tactics are much more lighter contact based and involve much more blocking than any normal player does, it doesn't compare to this.
Also forgot to mention, you should get in there and pin him when he slows, crashes or gets hit by EMP

Happens to me too. On xbox one/series it crashes if you try to load the game online, you have to disconnect internet then reconnect once youre in. try to find a lobby, but it probably will crash here. and then there's other ways you can crash too, it's basically RNG here. lots of bugs lol

Well, for starters, they nerfed the hell out of the cops on console after launch, and I don't have the money to buy Heat on PC
@@si1v3rp5ych0 that's quite odd cause i've been playing the game on PC and i haven't noticed any changes on the Cop a.i.
maybe the cops were nerfed on consoles only? i dunno.
@@Johnny-ux7yi Well, if you have mods, you can make the cops as good as you want. The cops can't even keep up with 400+ cars on console. I literally have to reduce the level of my car so they have some kind of chance. Even so, the game bugs out occasionally where the backup will spawn, then immediately despawn. They don't rubber band as good as Rivals' cops on console.
Rivals seems to be doing well though since I switched. I guess people are going back to this game since NFS 2022 was delayed.

The length isn't always intentional. I record on the Cop side for up to 50 minutes to get as much good footage as I can. The Racer side, I shoot for no less than 15 minutes, but the cops at Heat Level 10 are very hard to escape from most of the time, so sometimes I get a longer chase than I wanted. If it was good, I'll keep the footage regardless of how long it is (unless it lasts more than 40 minutes), because I'm that dedicated to make these videos.
