The trumpets at the beginning actually have a B natural above the staff and on bar 7 there is no high A split and at the end there is no Ab in the chord, its just a G
@@thepixelknights5403Yeah, there’s a Db, just not at that octave. The Db is in the LB1 part an octave higher than LB3. The last low brass chord should be scored like it is on beat one of bar 3.
@@imag1n342At that partial, yeah, it’d be out of tune and sound really horrible. Ever heard of tuning tendencies? The secret to good low brass scoring is keeping thirds above Bb4 as much as possible. Look up the harmonic overtone series if you aren’t familiar. You should never have the tuba and LB3 part less than a perfect fifth apart. More often than not the color tone is in the 1st low brass part while 2nd and 3rd cover the root and fifth. The rest of the transcription is great! Just pointing out something you’d never see a top DCI arranger do.
very good pie recipe, nice citrus taste

okay thank you! it was kinda hard to hear them over the blaring baris 😂
Seeing this live in SA was crazy
yo i was at the SA show too
In the low part decending to the final chord, I think it starts on the & of 1 as just an F to a Gb, the rest looks good
I was at this show it was amazong
"GIVE ME IT!"
There is no Db in the third baritone part at the end. That would be very out of tune and horribly muddy.
There definitely is a Db. That’s part of what’s giving it that intense feel due to it not being fully resolved down to the low b flat
It’s just a minor chord
out of tune? brotha its the minor 3rd
