what is the advantage of this compared to the cameras in the app? Save it to the HDD I know. But if you want to access the cameras and watch the recordings of the day, are these recordings displayed quickly? Now that I have not yet connected any cameras to the home base, it sometimes takes a while before I can see the history of the cameras in the app. Loading these takes takes quite a while without a home base... does this work faster with the cameras connected to the home base?
From what I have personally noticed, the advantage of the home base is encryption, enhanced AI and faster load times if you have it connected by Ethernet.

This thing doesn't work with 5G. I had to send mine back.
I wouldn't be using it on Wi-Fi to begin with. I have mine hardwired.
DONT BUY THIS, IT STOPPED SOMETIME AND ALL YOUR CAMERAS FOOTAGE WILL BE GONE.
I haven't had any issues yet and it's too late for me to return it at this point.
